Miya

Hi I'm Miya Regan Greene. I'm 16 years old. I've lived with dad since him and my mom divorced when I was 12. My dad had to go to Paris for business this summer, So lucky me gets to go live with my mom this summer. I haven't seen her since I was 12. Last time I saw her was hugging her goodbye as she boarded her plane to Peachtree City, Georgia. She writes me letters every now and then. She's remarried, I know her new husband has 2 kids.

I hug my dad tight at the airport.

"Dad please why I can't I just come with you?"

"I'm sorry Miya bear but I gotta take care of business"

I pull away and look up my dad. He looks guilty. He wipes away my tears.

"I'll be back in 9 months Miya. Its gonna be okay its not like I'm sending you to summer school"

I kinda smile looking down and nod.

"You better get on your flight before you miss it Miya bear."

I hug him tight. "Bye I love you and I'll miss you."

"I love you too and I'll miss you too Miya."

I walk up the stairs before entering the plane I turn around and smile sadly and wave goodbye. My dad kinda smiles and waves back.
I enter the plane and there's so many people. Its loud and crowded. Great. I push past people making to my seat. I put my bags in the space above my seat. I sit down and bite my nails.

"Excuse me?"

I look up to see a a bright green eyed boy with brown curly hair. He had a strong British accent.

"Y-yes?"

"I believe my seat is next to yours"

"O-oh" I pull my legs in so he could past by.

"Harry, you?"

"Miya."

"Makes since pretty girls deserve pretty names."

"Thank you." I blush a deep red.

"So where ya heading?"
