Chapter 1: They meet.

 ALEKS POV

“GET UP LAZY ASS, WE HAVE SCHOOL” Eddie yelled from outside my room. I groaned. He was worse than an alarm clock.

I sat up slowly and turned on my lamp, I ran my hand through my mess of hair. I really hate Mondays. I unwillingly got up from my warm bed, yawning through my sleepiness.

Walking over to my dresser, I pulled out some black skinny jeans, a blue and gray shirt, and to top it off a blue beanie.  I slipped into my jeans, and pulled on my shirt. I brushed through my hair a bit and put on my beanie.  After I tied my black converse on, I walked out of my room to see an impatient Eddie sitting at the kitchen table.

“About time!” He shouted. I rolled my eyes.

“Just shut up and get in the car.”

Eddie giggled and grabbed his keys. We ran to the car and made our way to the hell hole of school.

We pulled up to the front parking lot. Eddie shut off the car and we got out. We instantly saw our little group of friends; James, Dan, Nick, Jordan, Steven, and Seamus.

“Someone overslept.” Seamus said, turning around from his seat on the bench.

“Well this lazy ass wouldn’t wake his lazy ass up.” Eddie said, gesturing to me.

I just rolled my eyes and sat down between James and Nick. I laid my head on my arms and the guys just continued having conversations.

Just when I was getting back to sleep, the bell had to fucking ring. I groaned and reluctantly got up and walked to first period reading with James.

Finally, third period music class came around. I walked in and grabbed my guitar from the back where the instruments were kept.  I took my seat and everyone else walked in and did the same as me.

The teacher was still typing on his laptop, when a girl walked in. She had long, light brown hair that went mid-back. She was wearing a slightly over-sized Captain America sweater, and black jeggings. Honestly, she was really pretty, but I’ve never seen her before… She must be new.

She talked to Mr. Ray, the music teacher, and he pointed to a stool at my table. Guess I won’t be sitting alone anymore.

She hesitantly walked over to me, but she never took her eyes off the ground until she got to the table and sat across from me.

“Uhm, hi, my name is Aleks. You must be new here, what’s your name?”  I asked. She looked up at me, she seemed shocked, but I got a better look at her features, she had emerald green eyes, and slightly pale skin. She was beautiful.

“My name is Jasmine.” She was barely audible.

“That’s a really pretty name. Where are you from?”

“W-Why do you even care?” She said quietly again, and looked down, fiddling with her sleeves.

“I was just trying to be friendly, but I would like to get to know you as well.” I wasn’t lying. She seemed… lonely. Before she could reply, Mr. Ray stood up from his chair.

“Good morning class! Today we have a new student, would you like to introduce yourself?” He stated, gesturing to Jasmine.

“Uh, my n-name is Jasmine.” She said quietly looking down again.

“Well Jasmine do you play an instrument? Sing maybe?”

“I play p-piano.”

“Lovely! Could you play something?” He pressed on. I could tell she was trying to shy away, but knowing Mr. Ray he was going to get her to play.
