Aleks P.O.V
I had finished helping Mrs. Wazac and was now waiting for Jasmine next to the school sign. What was taking her so long?
As I was thinking she emerged from the crowd of kids waiting for their parents, or trying to sell drugs. Great school eh?
She had her head down, her hair covering her face.
“Hey, what took you so long?”
“Oh, I um had to go to the bathroom.” She said, slightly raising her head.
She was lying again but I wasn’t gonna question it right now. I just nodded and lead her to Eddies Car.
I opened the back door for her and she muttered a thanks as she got in. Something isn’t right.
I got in my side, and buckled in.
"So what's your name again?" Eddie said, looking at Jasmine through the rear view mirror.
She turned her head towards Eddie, "Its Jasmine. and you are?"
"Eddie. So what song are you guys doing?" He said trying to spark a conversation, Eddie was never one for silence.
"How to save a life, by The Fray."
"Not a bad choice." He said. "Come on you dumb ass the light is green! Green means go!" Eddie honked the horn as he yelled causing a small giggle from Jasmine.
Holy shit her giggle was cute.
"Oh and excuse my language and road raging."
"Don't worry I'm used to stuff like that." Jasmine said, turning her head to the window again. Her ckeek was slightly red... Best not question it.
Shortly after Eddies little rage we pulled up into our parking area for the building. I quickly got out so I could open the door for Jasmine.
"You're such a fucking flirt Aleks."
"Shut up."
Jasmine giggled once again.
"This is basically our whole friendship." I whispered to her as we headed up the stairs.
We had a second story apartment so we got there quickly. Eddie stopped in front of our door and unlocked it.
"HOME SWEET HOME FINALLY!" Eddie yelled, jumping onto the couch. Jasmine smiled and looked around the place.
"What do ya think?"
"It looks like the home of two high school boys." She said smiling. God she was beautiful.
I smiled back and lead her to my room.
"NO FUNNY BUISNESS IN THERE MISTER!" Eddie yelled.
"OKAY DAD!" I yelled back. Eddie erupted in giggles and I closed the door.
Jasmine seated herself in my roll chair in front of my computer desk, as I grabbed an electric piano from my closet.
I set up the stand and placed it in front of her. She smiled a bit, and tested out the keys.
"Thanks,"
I nodded and got my guitar from the closet. I sat down on the bed in front of her.
"I'll get some sheet music from the computer," she said turning the chair around and opened up Google.
I tuned my guitar while she searched.
"Found some for piano and guitar." She hit the print button and waited for the pages to come.
"Does your parents know you're here? I just thought of that." I asked. I didn't want her dad or mom yelling at me or her for that matter.
She went silent for a while. "Th-they won't care." She said sadly.
I stayed silent. It seemed like she didn't have the best relationship with her parents.
The last page printed out and she handed me my music. I set it up on a music stand and she did to.
We got to the about the first minute of the of the song, so we decided that was enough. I set down my guitar and stretched out my arms. I looked at the time.
6:00 o'clock, wow that took longer than expected."I think it's about time for you to grt home huh?"
Jasmine nodded. We got up from our seats and headed into the livingroom. Eddie was laid out on the couch playing CoD, and raging at the other players.
Jasmine smiled at his constant yelling.
"So guess we better get going?"
Jasmine averted her attention to me, her small smile fading.
She nodded, staying silent, and I grabbed the keys.
"BYE JASMINE!" Eddie exclaimed.
"Bye Eddie, nice meeting you."
