I drew this when I was watching the new episode. I actually cried (don't judge) because I felt the pain that (I forgot their name) had all along. When I was watching it, I realized that one day Steven might actually be able to heal the corrupted gems in the bubbles.
That would also explain why Steven said "and....I'm sorry in the end of the episode". He really did feel sorry for what happened and tried to fix her gem. This is my theory.
