I know from the first time they fused, it was an otp. Actually if you think about it, Stevonnie is the perfect fusion. She has only one pair of everything, and is based on true love like Garnet. Garnet's an amazing fusion and has everything but three eyes.
But that doesn't mean she's not perfect, she is in most ways. The only thing is that she has three different eyes because one represents Ruby, Sapphire and future vision. This could mean they don't see things on the same level sometimes as we've seen in "Keystone Motel".
They still love each other more than anything so they're perfect just like Stevonnie. I'll be sure to draw other gems as well and explain my theories too.
