Proper introductions, improper behaivior.

The night had worn on and it was time for everyone to retire. There was a room for everyone who wished to spend the night that list contained bubblegum, lsp, Finn and jake, berry princess, and marceline the vampire queen.

" thank you for a terrific evening for those who need rest there are Royal suites for such occasions. I bid you all goodnight." You yawned. Everything felt tired and sore, not to mention how groggy it felt to finally have a full stomach. Stumbling back to your room you practically fell asleep as you hit the bed. The warm soft folds enveloping you in a comfortable hug of sleep.

Later that night (⌒▽⌒)

"Hey. Wanna go on an adventure?" A voice whispered disturbing your rest. You shot up in bed every muscle jolting to attention. Your hand collided with something cold and squishy.

"Owww... Careful that was my face man." A familiar voice groaned.

"Sorry I just usually don't get woken up so suddenly." You apologized blushing deeply.

"No kidding you sleep like a rock." She chuckled "anyways I was thinking of going for a late night flight. Wanna come with me? could be totally rad." She continued

"That sounds awesome lets do it. Well not do it. I mean. *embarrassed cough* a flight sounds amazing. It's nice to get away from the kingdom for once." You stutter. (Stupid words you sound like a dweeb) you think to yourself.

"Hold on." Two strong hands grasp under your arms and lift you in the air. You glide out the excessively large window in your room. The midnight air caressed your face and hair. the moon was full and bright, it illuminated the laughing face of the vampire queen above.

"so, do you do anything for like, fun? or are you the full time monarch type." she questioned.

"well i've been a ruler for my entire life. i never really had time for other stuff." you sighed.

marceline landed at the mouth of a cave. "well we have a while. wanna come inside and talk about it?" she said pointing to the dark cave looming ahead, mysterious and seductive it beckoned you.

"inside?"

flipping a switch in the cave you saw the comfortable home in the center of the dark rock formation.

"yeah its pretty sweet. cozy you know?"

"totally cozy. it reminds me of the houses before the mushroom war" you reply.

"you were around before the mushroom war?" marceline inquired eyebrow raised.

"wha- phssh. n-no i mean. why would you think that. i-i-i *cough* i read history books, yeah history books." you respond.

"don't get all weird. lots of rulers are immortal. princess bubblegum, me, and the ice king all knew each other before the mushroom war happened. i was just a kid when it all went down, a lot of it is foggy." she comforted.

"wow. i couldn't imagine. iv'e been in that bubble of a kingdom for ever." you lied.

"whoa dude its almost day time. we gotta get back to your castle before the sun comes up." marceline said heading for the door

"right, iv'e got a kingdom to attend to. you have a sun to avoid. let's go" marceline clasped under your arms pulling you into the endless sky that was illuminated with the familiar grey that came before a sunrise. sighing you glance back to the cave that had grown so familiar in the past few hours you had spent there.
