Little White Lies

Chapter 1

"Lexi! You need to come down here and eat something and get ready for school!" Danny yelled from downstairs.

"Okay! Stop yelling.." I said as a dragged myself out of the bed. I wasn't the best morning person, actually, who really is..

I hurried and took a quick shower and put on some skinny jeans and a black v-neck shirt and a grey sweeter and my Toms. It was still getting cold outside and almost winter time. I dried my pitch black hair and straightened it a little and put it in a braid to the side. It was just a Monday so I didn't go all out with the way I was dressed.

I went downstairs to find Danny making eggs. I was a vegetarian so I really didn't have anything but egg whites and some cereal in the morning. Danny had nothing but meat. He always had a hard time making two different meals for both of us. But he still kept a steady job and managed to take care of both of us.

"It's about time you got down here. My boss called and said I didn't have to go to work until 9:30 so hurry up and eat because the guys are coming over." He said while he set the food down in front of me.

"Why do they even need to come over? Are they going to like stay here the whole day or something?"

"No, their going to work on dad's old car, remember? I wanted to get it fixed so we can sell it.." He said and then their was a knock at the door.

Danny always seemed to have his friends over. My dad never really agreed to have Danny's friends come over but once he died, Danny always had them over. Niall was the kind of immature one, he always came to the house when he was drunk and then pass out on the couch. Then Zayn who was a little mature then the others. Also Nick who was almost like Niall too. Then there was Harry, he was just known as the party animal who slept with a lot girls most of the time. I was pretty close with all of them but not really Harry. He had a past that nobody could seem to ever uncover.

"Hey guys, come in." Danny said and moved out of the way..

"Hey Lexi, you should ditch school today and help us with the car. We need the knowledge of a girl with us." Niall said with a wink. He always joking around with me and it got annoying sometimes.

"I would love to help but I don't want to drop out of high school like you did." I said and laughed and so did everyone else.

"Very funny... Hey when is that hot friend of yours going to come over again?" He said and drank a bit of my orange juice.

"You mean Alexa? You like her?" I said and grabbed my juice away from him.

"Okay okay. Can we get back to the reason why you guys came over here in the first place, the car." Danny said and lead them to the garage door.

"I'm going to go to the bathroom first." Harry said and turned around then ran into me.

We both fell to the floor and he was on top of me. I was a little shocked and thankful the food didn't spill on me. Harry look up at me and his eyes met mine. I never really cared for Harry or even looked at him. Then he looked at me with his green eyes, they were beautiful.

"Hey Lexi." He said, still on top of me.

"I need to get to school." I said and tried to get up.

"Well let me take you." He said and he pushed me back down.

"What happened to going to the bathroom?" I said and I looked back into his eyes. Harry's eyes were like nothing I ever seen before. Something about them just made me not want to look away from him.

"I'm sure I can hold it." He said with a smirk on his face and his deep raspy British accent. Then he got up and held his hand to help get me up. I took his hand and realized his hands were big and seemed strong enough to hurt anything.

"Well.. Then we need to leave right now or I'm going to be late." I said and then noticed that he was still holding on my hand. I pulled it away and started to get my things ready for school.

"Sure, I wouldn't want to hurt you perfect attendance." He said then gave me a smile. I gave him a fake laugh then he ran his hand through his hair and pushed it back. I thought that it was bad of me that I kind of liked it when he did that.

I opened the garage door and looked for Danny but didn't find him. "Hey I'm going to go to school now.. so tell Danny that please." I said to Zayn and he nodded. I didn't bother to tell them that Harry was going to take me because I knew that they would think something else of it. Which it wasn't.

When I went outside, Harry was leaning against his old Chevy truck. He had his leather jacket on and a white shirt with some black skinny jeans and Converse. I had to say that he didn't look too bad dressed like that, but I pushed that thought out of my head.

"It's about time. I starting to think that you snuck out the back and took off with without me.." He said with a little smirk.

"Well I didn't ask you to take me. I could just start walking to school right now.." I said and crossed my arms.

"Just stop having a attitude and get in the car." He said and swung the door opened for me and then got into the drivers side.

I got into the car and it was quiet for whole drive to school. I went to Wilmslow High School and it was just your normal high school that mostly everyone went to. Harry used to go to school here until he dropped out.

"Well thanks for the ride. You might want to get back to Danny and the guys before they start to think that your constipated or something.." I said then gave him a smile. I was about to get out of the truck then he grabbed my arm.

"I'll be here to pick you up after school, okay?" Harry said and looked deep into my eyes. I hated his eyes. They just took control of me.

"I guess.." I said then took one last look at him then got out. Then his truck took off back to my house. I just stood there wondering why he wanted to drive me and pick me up from school. I never had any type of feelings for Harry, but I just didn't even know what I was feeling at that time.
