Little White Lies

Chapter 2

When I went to my first class, I couldn't help but think about Harry. Why did he all of a sudden talk to me. I didn't even know that he knew my name. He knew Danny most of his life but he never once talked to me. When I ran into him, I just thought he would've got a little mad then would walk away. But instead, this had to happen.

When I finally sat down in my seat, my friend Alexa started walking toward me.

"Hey, I was trying to call you this morning a to ask if you needed a ride.." She said and sat down right next to me.

"Oh sorry, Harry took.. never mind.." I said the stopped because I noticed what I saying.

"Well okay. Hey, there's a party tonight at Lizzie's house, we should go!" Alexa said and put her feet up on the desk.

"Umm.. I don't think I should. I need study for that math test were having next week and go through some if my notes for history and I need to get.." I was about to grab a sticky note from my binder to write my list down then Alexa stopped by closing it.

"We're going to the party and you can do you little nerd things another day. And then we can go get something for you to wear after school today." Alexa said with a smile on her face because she loved to dress me into something that I wouldn't wear.

"Well I can do my 'nerd things' another day but I'm not going to be going shopping with you after school and someone is already picking me up and I don't think he will like me to say someone else is taking me to another place." I said when I remembered that Harry said that he was going to pick me up after school.

"Wait 'he'? If you were talking about Danny you would have said his name but who is this 'he' boy? Alexa said with a smile on her face.

"Okay class stop taking. We have a lot to get through today so say goodbye to your friends that you were talking to because you will not be talking to them the rest of the hour." My teacher said and started to write on the board.

Somehow I was relieved that we had a lot to get though today because then Alexa wouldn't be bothering me about who 'he' was. I didn't mean to say that, it just slipped out. Although I did not want Harry to take me home, but I didn't want Alexa to take me shopping.

After class was over I hurried up and got all my things ready to go so I can make a run back to my locker and stay away from Alexa. I had collage algebra next which Alexa was not taking, so I wouldn't see her until lunch.

I was speed walking to locker to grab my books from my locker and get to class. Then I turned the corner and I ran into a tall guy who was in black skinny jeans and a white shirt with a leather jacket and converse. I probably could have fallen if his hand didn't grab my waist and held me up. When I looked up at him, I saw glowing green eyes that I would never forget. His curly hair was in his face and with his free hand that wasn't on my waist pushed back his hair. I then noticed the principle was with him and had a schedule with him.

"Hello Ms.Carter, I was just looking for you. This is our new kid and he has some classes with you so I thought that you could show him around." Mr.Hampton, the school principle, said to me and patted on the new kids shoulder.

Harry was going to go to my school.
