Clary woke up in her room, head spinning.

"Look! She's up!" Simon yelled. "Simon, not so loud!" Clary moaned. "Oh sorry." She sat up and gripped her sheets. "W-where's jace?" She asked. "Dammit!" Alec pouted while Isabelle jumped up and down.

"Pay up!" Alec handed her fifty dollars and grumbled. "What's that about?" Clary wondered. "They were betting on what you would say when you woke up. Alec said "Where's simon?" And Isabelle said "Where's jace?" And you said jace so she won." Clary's feet hit the ground hard and she stumbled.

"Woah! Carefully there." Alec said as he pulled her up. "Thanks." She walked out into the hallway and saw jaces door was open.

"Jace?"

Jace stopped drawing a rune and looked up, his face pale. "Clary!" He jumped up and ran to her. He picked her up and swung her around. "By the angel you look awful!" He teased and planted a kiss on her lips. They were slow at first, like he never wanted it to end. Then he kissed her faster, more rough like he was trying to pull her into him.

Clary pulled back and stumbled backwards. "Woah!" Jace caught her and smirked. "Did I make you feel that lightheaded?" Clary poked his arm and they stood up. She leaned on his chest and wrapped her arms around his neck. "I was worried when you weren't in my room when I woke up." She whispered. He hugged her tightly.

"I'm sorry. I was....... Busy." He responded. She pulled away and looked at his arms. The runes for healing were everywhere. "Jace, what happened while I was asleep?" She asked concerned. "I....... I got mad. And I was terrified that you wouldn't wake up so I went into the pratice room and...... I sorta broke a lot of things." Jace whispered. Clary couldn't help but laugh.

"Yep. When you feel sad and mad the logical answer is to break things." Jace pulled her off of him and looked into her eyes. "It is when your the cause of my madness!" He joked and pulled her down onto the bed with him.

"Jace!" Clary blushed. "We can't, you know, do THAT right now! Not when there's a demon out to get me!" Jace pulled her closer. "Come on! Just five minutes? Please?" He didn't wait for the answer, he was already taking off her shirt. "Ugh fine!" Clary huffed and relaxed.

"Five minutes." She thought. "Five minutes of happiness, then the rest of the time will be pain." She closed her eyes and sighed as jace kissed her.

When she woke, the light was still pouring in from the window. It was cold but something was holding her. She turned to see jaces face. She poked his stomach. "That was way more then five minutes." She laughed and so did he. She relized she wasn't wearing a shirt and quickly covered herself. "Why did you do that? I was just getting interested." He grabbed her shirt of the bedside table and handed it to her. "Here. You'll need this." She snatched it from him.

"Nah really?!" Clary got dressed and headed downstairs. When she was halfway down she heard a noise. She stopped and looked around. "Jace?" She whispered. "Jace this isn't funny cut it out!" She yelled.

"I thought it was hillarious." That voice. Clary knew that voice all to well. "Sebastian." She said in disgust. "Did you miss me little sister?" He emerged from the shadows, his eyes gleaming in the light. Clary flew back upstairs and into jaces room and locked the door. "I thought you were downsta-" jace stopped when he saw her face. He dropped his blade and grabbed her arms. "Clary what's wrong? You look like you've just seen a ghost." Clary nodded and jace looked confused.

She looked up at him and swallowed. "Sabastian." Was all she said and jace was already at the door, sword in hand. "Clary, hide." She ran behind his dresser and waited for his signal. She grabbed her phone and called the others. She told them that she saw Sebastian and too meet them in jaces room. "Not again." Simon whined. "Just hurry up and get here! I don't think he wants to talk with his dear old sissy." Clary paused and swallowed hard.

"He wants to kill me."
