You walked into Sickbay for your monthly routine of checkups. Today's checkup happen to be on your birthday. No one had said a word to you about your birthday. It hurt in a way, but you didn't mind.
When you walked in, the whole room was dark "Lights on," you said. When the lights turned on, you jumped at the sudden outburst.
"SUUUPRIISEE!!!"
Kirk, Spock, Bones, Scotty, Chekov, Sulu, and Uhura were decorated from head to toe with glitter, confetti, and huge hats. Yes, even Spock, even thought he didn't seemed to amused. You burst into a grin and covered your mouth. Bones walked up to you and gave you a gift.
"Happy birthday, Y/N," he whispered.
You gave him a hug and started to open the gift. What you saw brought tears to your eyes. It was a diamond ring. You looked up to thank him, but he wasn't there. You slowly looked down to see him down on one knee. He took your hand and looked you in the eyes.
"Y/N", he started, "I know we have been dating for over two years, but I can't seem to keep my eyes off of you, darlin'. Will you marry me?"
You looked up to the rest. They were all smiling, while Spock had a smirk on his face. You looked back down to Bones.
"Yes. Yes, I will marry you," you said in tears. He too had tears in his eyes. He jumped up and wrapped you in his arms. Everyone was clapping and cheering.
Man, you thought, I love this ship.
