He dove behind a trash can as quickly as he could. Someone stepped outside. A girl, about his age, Which was around 16 at least.. he thought.. They didnt celebrate birthdays here, they celebrated the day you were Deppaz; Where you were transformed from a mortal to a Reretrauqdaeh; one of the four headquarters... Which were, Wodahs, Eripmav, Flowerew, and last, his own kind, Retfihsepahs. He peeked through the space between the trash cans. She wore a simple t-shirt, thin green and white letterman jacket and jeans. She had her hands full with large black plastic bags. She scowled and tossed them aside, right in Alexander's face. He stiffled his yelp fearing that he would be caught. Unaware of his presence, she dusted herself off and combed her hair with her fingers. Her display showed such arrogance that it made him want to puke.
"God. Ew. Stupid little brother" he heard her mutter.
After a few moments, he poked his head out, carefully pushing the bag from his face, trying not to gag, it was a strong smell, and of course, smelled like dog poop. He was careful not to be spotted. He flinched a little, earlier he had scraped up his knees in the sudden dive. He ducked back behind the trash can again. Carefully, he slipped his hand into his other pocket, his hand closing around a piece of crumpled paper, its edges rough and burnt. He heard footsteps and the screen door slamming shut. Carefully he drew the paper from his pocket, unfolding it before his eyes. There was a single address smack in the middle of the paper, and a short note at the end.
3049 Flyleaf Ave.
Werewolf HQ.
Don't fail, You'll regret it.
Signed,
Retfihsepahs HQ.
Alexander looked up and read the label on the trash can. Yes... they label addresses on trash cans. The address on the trash bin matched the address on his note. He sucked in a breath, this was it...
It was time to get this thing done.
