She had thought seeing dead bodies was frightening. She was wrong. When the two vampires rode into the clearing they rode in like the owned everything their eyes touched. Both of them were intimidating specimens on their own but together they were completely and utterly terrifying and awe-inspiring. Vairos was a monster. He was a force of nature given form. He had black hair and pale skin, but a totally different bone structure than Damien had.

The woman, Yekaterina was breathtakingly beautiful. She had long silky black hair, a body most women would kill for, and killer blue eyes that seemed to pierce right through you. They quickly took charge of the situation after introductions went around and Lily couldn't stop herself from staring at them as the hypothesized. When they finally left, though she was relieved, shuddering away from the fear their presence induced. Damien nodded at her.

"You handled them well."

"Do they always feel that way?"

"This is the first I have encountered Yekaterina, but he does. She seems to suit him well. He may have found his bride."

"I couldn't imagine." She shuddered. Damien looked at Klaus.

"Go and tell others of these events. The whole pack should be informed." Klaus nodded and with one last big grin, he was off and running. She and Damien began walking away from the dead bodies for which Lily and her nose were grateful. Finally, Damien pushed her gently against a large tree. "I am every bit the monster that Vairos is." He said facing her.

"No, you aren't." She kissed him. "That creature was a force outside of nature." She kissed him again, gently pushing at his control. "And you." She nibbled his bottom lip. "Are very, very natural." She wasn't sure what had gotten into her. She normally wasn't this forceful. But to be honest she was enjoying this. She loved watching the way his stone façade crumbled if she got near him. She loved the need that flared in his eyes when she kissed him. She loved that he had been honest with her. And most of all she loved how when he finally gave in and kissed her back, she saw fireworks.

Lily would be totally content to just sit here and do nothing but kiss him the whole night long, and the following day too. He growled and pulled back again. She frowned. He really, really needed to stop with all that pulling away crap he seemed so fond of doing. He was driving her nuts.

"The pack will be expecting us to be around."

"Then come home with me since you wrecked your own place."

"And my home is not big enough for two."

"I don't know, I kind of liked being on top of each other." She teased, enjoying the way his eyes went a little wild with passion. They walked back to her cabin, waiting for pack members to come asking questions but no one came. Eventually, she got sleepy and sat down on her couch. "Damien, I don't think anyone is coming."

"Odd."

"It was probably Klaus trying to encourage a little alone time for you and me." He looked mildly perturbed. "Do you honestly not know how much that man plots on you?"
