While we were walking I told her that I didn't have a car and told Chloe  that I took the bus there. She said, "It's okay, we can just walk." "Really? Normal girls would be very reluctant to do so. Then again, no normal girl would want to go out with me." Chloe snickered. "Wow, thanks for that compliment," she said. "Wait," I said blushing, "I d-didn't mean it like that! You're perfectly normal, I was just trying to m-make fun of myself!" "It's okay, stupid, I don't get offended that easily. By the way, where are we going?" she asked. "Um, it's a place called Jines Restaurant. It's pretty cool, I've never been there, but it has really good reviews. It's about three blocks " I said. "Oh cool! That's not that long of a walk so it's good!" We continued walking, talking about stupid things like books and drama. We got to the restaurant and were seated outside which we didn't mind at all. We both ordered water.  "This place is pretty cool!" she said. "Yeah!" I replied. The waiter came over and asked for our orders. I got the spinach salad, and Chloe got the Waldorf salad. "You can get something more expensive ya know. It's not like it's a billion dollars for anything else." I said. "Yeah, but I don't want to get something that costs more and then hate it and not eat any of it. I'm not gonna waste your money." "Fair enough," I said. We finished our food and I paid for the bill with the money I earned from the job I got after school, and then we went to get ice cream. It was barely 8 o'clock so I asked Chloe what she wanted to do. She said, "I don't know. We could to my tree house and watch a movie if you want." "You're telling me, that you have a fricken tree house? I thought that you've only been here for five weeks!" I exclaimed. "Yeah, but my dad came home for a week and on the weekend built three-quarters of a tree house," she said eating her ice cream. "Three-quarters? What about the rest?" I asked. "Oh, I built the rest. My mom tried to help, but she kept hurting herself." Chloe laughed. I liked her laugh. "WHAT?!?!?!?!"  Despite my lovestruck state,  I was very surprised at her ability. She laughed again. "We definitely have to watch a movie there now!" I said. She smirked and said, "Well we can go rent one. What type of movies do you like?" "Well," I said, "I don't really watch movies that much, but I like action and comedy." "Okay, then. Let's go." We rented a cheesy rom-com and then walked back to her house. It was about 8:20 so her mom was very surprised at our arrival. "Back so soon?" she asked with raised eyebrows. "Don't worry mom, Hayden's not a dork, he just wanted to watch a movie in my tree house," Chloe said. "Oh, okay. There is lemonade in the fridge and you can make some popcorn if you want. I'm gonna go upstairs though." her mom said. "M'kay mom," Chloe said, "So, I can make popcorn first, and then we can head out to the tree house, okay?" "Okay," I replied. She made the popcorn and then we headed out to her tree house. It was gigantic, it was on a huge thick oak tree, and had fairy lights on the out and inside of the house part. We climbed up the ladder and I was amazed. I had band posters, a mini fridge, a 42" TV, and a pull out couch. "Wow," I said in awe. "I know right!" she responded. We sat down on the couch and put the movie in.
