I had never been in a more peaceful state. I was in a white room with zero furniture, except a singular park bench. It was facing away from me, and there was a person sitting in it. I walked around to see who it was. It was my mom, sitting on the old park bench we used to sit on when I was little. I almost broke down when I saw her. I had so much to tell her and I just needed her back into my life. "Hayden," my mom said. It calmed me when I heard her voice, and I just sat down next to her, cautiously. "Yeah mom?" I said. She held onto my hands and looked me straight in the eyes. "Don't go back there," she said seriously. "What? What do you mean Mom? Go back where?" I was so confused. What was she talking about? Does she mean not to go back to our house? "To the real world. You're on the verge of death Hayden. Don't go back. You can stay here forever with me." she said with a smile that was eerily soft. I really wanted to trust her, but it was so difficult. "Mom stop it. How am I here if I'm basically dead. I have no idea what you're saying!" I was so wierded out and confused. "Just let go Hayden. Give up and stop. Stop fighting for your life. You can just die and it will stop. Then you can stay with me." She was being more forceful now. She put her hands on my shoulders. "Do you really want to go back to that life, Hayden?" she started shaking me viciously, "You were beaten, ridiculed, and abandoned, pbviously life with me would be better. Just die like I did and live with me forever. After all I'm the only one who truly loves you." She stopped shaking me, still holding my shoulders. I got slightly perturbed by this remark. "No, you're not the only one that loves me." Her face turned into the most twisted smile I had ever seen. "Oh yeah, I forgot about Chloe. Do you actually think that she loves you? How could anyone other than your family love you. I barely even loved you, I felt obligated to because you were so helpless. Scrawny, dumb, and hideous. How could anyone force themselves to love you?" This was not my mom. I couldn't take it. I fell to the ground in shock and anguish from what I was hearing. I wanted to see Chloe. I wanted to leave this place. "Go ahead and cry like always. You're more sensitive than a child." She spat on me. I looked up at her and black goop was coming from her eyes and mouth. Her became very low and demon- like and she said, "STAY HERE WITH ME HAYDEN! YOU WON'T SURVIVE ANYWAYS, YOU WEAKLING!!! DIE NOW AND SAVE THE TRAUMA." I was so afraid that I could vomit. "I DON'T WANT THIS!" I screamed. Just then I felt like I was moving very fast in some sort of vehicle. I heard someone crying and repeating my name over and over again. I realized that it was Chloe. I opened my eyes to find that I was in an ambulance with Chloe and a bunch of nurses. Chloe looked over at me and saw that I was awake. "Hayden!"
