Harold
"Mate watch out!" I screamed towards Dylan, running out in front of him.
I feel a sharp pain pierce directly through my abdomen, I fall into the dirt with a hard thud.
My God I've been shot. I groan in pain. I'd rather it be me than him.
"HAROLD!" I hear him scream and duck down behind the barrier. Gun shots continue to fill my ears as we fight.
I start to cough and I feel a warm liquid come out of my mouth. I look down at my hand and see blood.
"Its alright buddy I've got you." I'm lifted into his arms as he runs us to the dark green jeep.
We pull out at a fast speed as bullets fly past us. "Shit that was close."
I hear him mutter. I close my eyes and try and steady my breathing.
Within 10 minutes we arrive at the hospital due to Dylan's fast speeding.
He helps me out and I grunt in pain, finding it unbearable to walk.
We struggle through the doors and I fall to the ground.
The hospital is loud and there are others like me moaning in pain.
Small hands reach for me and help me up.
A delicate voice speaking in a frenzy manor cause me to look up.
"What happened to him?" The dark haired beauty asks. Her light brown eyes fall to me and she helps me gently lay back on the bed.
I've never seen someone so breath taking, not a single flaw.
My heart beats faster when she returns and starts pushing me away from Dylan. Her gaze focused ahead of her.
"Are you an angel?" I ask, ignoring the burning of my dry throat. I probably look disgusting right now.
"You're going to be ok. You lost a lot of blood but you'll be alright." Her voice is soft and I have the perfect view of her face.
Her hair is a dark brown color, her skin ivory. Her lips a dark red that makes my head spin.
"My names Harold." I smile, absolutely smitten by her. I wonder what her name is? I bet it's just as beautiful as she is.
"Well Harold, you're going to feel a pinch." She says, not telling me her name like thought she would.
She's not a easy one to crack that's for sure. I like that.
I feel a pain in my left arm and I close my eyes and bite my lip, I've always hated needles.
"I know I'm sorry this is the hard part. After this you'll feel better I promise." She smiles and pushes my fallen hair that covers my forehead back.
My skin feels as though it's on fire when her skin touches mine. My heart flutters and I can't help but stare at her.
"What's your name?" I must sound like a love drunk fool. But I can't help it.
I feel the medicine start to take its toll on me and I pray I won't fall asleep before finding out her name.
She looks at me with bambie eyes and gives me a shy smile with rosy cheeks.
"Evelyn, Evelyn Fay." She says and I look at her, really look at her face.My eyes studying her red painted lips.
Oh how I wonder how they'd feel against mine?
"Evelyn." I repeat, smiling. Her lips being the last thing I see before the darkness takes over.
