Harold's pov
Evelyn.
A smile tugs at my lips as I think of her, images of her sweet face and laughter clouds my mind.
"You ready to see her?" I hear from a cocky voice beside me.
I open my eyes and look at Dylan and smile.
"Absolutely." I can't contain my grin as I start thinking of ways to surprise her with my return.
I look out of Dylan's Jeep window and close my eyes again, taking in the fresh air and sunshine as we drive.
We got in early this morning, now we are heading to go get something to eat.
I look down at my clean shirt and jeans and smile, it's quite the difference from my bloody, dirty uniform I've been stuck in these past weeks.
I look down at my clean nails and ignore the fact that there was blood under them less than 24 hours ago.
I shudder as violent cold memories start to come back but I force myself to push them away.
I feel the Jeep stop and look up to see we're parked in front of the coconut shack.
We get out and quickly eat before heading back to our house.
The time now being 6:30pm, I look in my mirror at my reflection.
I look as tired as I feel.
But I don't let that stop me from going to see my girl.
I've waited too long for this.
I pull up in front of the hospital and walk in, my eyes desperately search for her.
I walk up to the doctor, Evelyn's boss, and ask him if she's here.
"No son, she's at home, hasn't been feeling too well lately."
A sad smile is forced from him, I see some type of sympathy in his eyes.
Confused, I thank him for his help and head out of the doors.
I get in my Jeep and start the engine, I pull out and head towards Evelyn's.
God I hope she's okay.
