I woke up and the first thing I did was check my phone. I smiled as I opened the text message from Andy. I read threw it a few times before locking my phone and getting out of bed. I yawned and stretched before opening my curtains and taking in the fall scenery in my backyard. I missed Andy already... I sighed as I pondered what to wear today. I shuffled lazily over to my closet and began to dig through my many items of clothing. I settled on a pair of ripped black skinny jeans, a red and black plaid button up shirt, my black converse, and a black knit beanie. After getting dressed, I exited my bedroom and went to make some coffee. I decided to read Andy's text again while I waited for my coffee to brew.

A: Hey beautiful. I really did enjoy myself last night, thank you for making it memorable. I really hope to see you again soon... I miss you already. Call me later when you're up xo

I decided to call him now. I wasn't sure if he'd be awake or even available to take my call. If he wasn't, at least I could leave him a voicemail in return for the text message. I dialed his number and placed the phone to my ear. He answered after the second ring.

Andy: Well, hello beautiful
Krystin: Hi love, how's your morning going?
Andy: It's alright, we're just on our way to the airport. Could be better though to be honest
Krystin: Oh? Is everything okay?
Andy: Not really... Krystin, I miss you already
Krystin: Me too, Andy... text me when you can okay?
Andy: Alright honey, talk soon

We ended the call and I slipped my phone in my pocket as I grabbed a mug from the cupboard. No sooner had I poured my coffee and too my first sip there was a knock at my door. I went to see who it was, coffee in hand. I looked through the little peep hole but couldn't see anything. Unlocking the door, I opened it cautiously. On the door step was a bouquet of red roses and a package. I slipped the bouquet under my arm and grabbed the package going back in the house, closing and locking the door behind me. I set everything on the counter and looked over the roses for a card or anything that would give away who they were from. I pulled the wrapping off of the package to reveal a white box. Upon opening it, there was a letter and a plane ticket. The letter was from Andy...

Krystin

I know you're probably wondering why the roses and plane ticket. The roses are merely a beautiful gift for you to look at and think of me. The plane ticket, however is for a trip to California. I really don't want to be apart from you, I sense something good beginning here between us and I'd really hate to loose that. It's a one way, that way you can stay as long, or as little as you want. The guys and I have a share house, with a few guest rooms- you'll have your pick of which one you want. If you choose not to come, I'll understand. Just know, if you choose to come, we'll all be impatiently awaiting your arrival.

XO - Andy

I couldn't help but smile. Call me crazy, but this excited me. I had gotten my passport a few months back just because. Not really intending on using it to be honest. Now, I have a reason to. I tucked the passport back into the box for safe keeping for the time being until I had a chance to talk to Andy about this. I set it on the counter as I unwrapped the roses and placed them in an empty vase I had tucked under the counter. I filled it with some water and placed it in the middle of my dining table. I was pleased, they added a vibrant pop of color to the room. Not to mention they smelled lovely. I checked the time, 12:02pm. It was at this point I realized how hungry I was. I drummed my fingers on the counter for a moment before deciding on what I was going to do. Seeing as it is my day off, I decided to order out and spend my afternoon surfing through Netflix. I plopped down on the sofa and dug through the few take out menus I had. After about twenty minutes of being indecisive I settled on pizza. I punched in the number for my local Greco, placed my order (medium cheese pizza and a can of pepsi), and hung up the phone. As I was surfing through Netflix awaiting the delivery guy I decided to text Andy.

K: Hi love, I received your package. Thank you for the roses, they are beautiful. Thank you also, for the plane ticket. I hope you're ready because I plan on using it- sooner, rather than later. It's only been two days of being around you and I already hate being apart. I miss you, have a safe flight xo

I set the phone down on the table, and finally settled on a movie. Seeing as it was nearly October and I'm completely obsessed with Halloween I decided on starting the cult classic Halloween series right from the beginning. I was a sucker for the cult classics. They were much better than the newer, more predictable horror movies now a days. As I hit play, there was a knock at the door... PIZZA! I got up and answered the door, greeting the delivery guy with a smile as I took the pizza from him.

"Your total is twenty one dollars and forty three cents." he stated with a small smile. I handed him a twenty and a five, instructing that he keep the change. He nodded and left with a small wave as I closed the door behind him, practically drooling at the smell wafting from the pizza box. I placed the box and the can of pepsi on the coffee table in front of me before grabbing some tissue from the table beside me. Taking a seat, I cracked the box open, grabbed a slice, and enjoyed my afternoon.

I took a seat next to the window and relaxed. I didn't mind flying, but I wasn't really looking forward to going back to Cali and leaving Krystin here. It's only been two days, but I didn't want to be apart from her. I really liked this girl, and I cared for her so strongly already. CC took a seat next to me and leaned his seat back, positioning his hat so that it was covering his eyes. The guys were all hung over, I however was able to bask in the glory of not being hung over and getting amusement and entertainment out of their pain and suffering. I smirked and pulled my phone out of my pocket, connecting my ear buds and turning my music on to shuffle. I was immediately met with the opening music of Welcome To the Machine by Pink Floyd. I settled in to my seat even more and checked my messages, nearly squealing when I seen that Krystin had texted me. I read the text with a smile plastered on my face.

K: Hi love, I received your package. Thank you for the roses, they are beautiful. Thank you also, for the plane ticket. I hope you're ready because I plan on using it- sooner, rather than later. It's only been two days of being around you and I already hate being apart. I miss you, have a safe flight xo

I sent a reply, my fingers moving quickly over the on screen keyboard.

A: You did?! That's great! Prettiest of flowers for the prettiest of woman. Sooner? Really? You want to come to Cali?
K: Yes! Andy... it's only been two days since we've met but it feels like a lifetime... I don't mean that as a bad thing! I just find comfort being around you, and I miss you terribly
A: You just took the words our of my mouth honey. What are you up to?
K: Eating pizza and watching scary movies. Are you in the air yet?
A: Really? Without me? How rude! Kidding. Just took off, the guys are all hung over... its comical
K: I bet, they'll be feeling even worse when you all land lol
A: I know right? Gonna shut my phone off for a bit to conserve battery, I'll check in later xo
K: Safe travels love, xo

I powered my phone down feeling content. If only she knew how happy she made me. I slipped my phone back into my pocket and leaned my seat back, might as well take a nap... With a slight yawn, I covered my eyes with my arm and drifted off.
