Chapter 9: New Feelings And More News

Taeyeon's POV:

I went to my seat and tried to ignored the two. Class finished and I went to the door. Just then Suzy ran into me and I fell.

"Watch where you going Taeyeon!" Suzy said. Baekhyun held his hand out for me to take. I felt relived that he didn't think of me negatively. I was about to take his hand, then he swiped his hand away.

"Wait, didn't we break up? Oh! I almost forgot you are a playgirl," Baekhyun said while laughing. The whole class joined in. I got up on my own and pushed my way through the door. I felt tears start to form in my eyes, but I held them back. As I walked to my next class I saw Baekhyun with Suzy down the hall. He made eye contact with me. I quickly turned away and tried to walk in the other direction.

"Hey, Taeyeon!" I heard Baekhyun yell. I tried to force a smile.

"Yes?"

"Come and carry Suzy's things."

"You have no right t-"

"You are my bodyguard aren't you? So shouldn't you do as I ask?" I walked over and took Suzy's things from her hands. I was about to walk with them so I could make sure Suzy got her things, but then I was tripped and I hit my right elbow hard on the ground. I held my elbow and closed my eyes tight to keep tears from coming out.

"Aw, little Taeyeon lost her balance and fell," I heard Suzy say, "Hurry get up and pick up everything." I stood up and picked up my own things. I winced as I used my right arm.

"You have no right to boss me around Suzy. Oh! And you can pick up your things since you thought it was smart to do that," I said before walking off to my next class. When I sat down in my seat I saw Baekhyun come in and he was giving me death glares.

*End of school day*

I decided to head to the roof top to clear my thoughts, but as soon as I got there a group of girls grabbed me and pinned me against the door. I didn't have my tranquilizers on me, and as a body guard I'm not supposed to hurt anyone beside the ones who try to hurt Baekhyun, or who can kill me. They pinned me against the ground. I saw Suzy walk towards me.

"Well, well, well, who do we have here?" I heard her say. I tried to get of the girls' arms, but eight of them were holding me down and my right arm still hurt from before. Then Suzy kicked my side twice. I looked at Suzy and pretended it didn't hurt. Then she slammed her foot down on my stomach. The girls let go of me and I got up holding my stomach. I watched as Suzy came towards me. She took out a knife. I watched her as she found her grip on holding it. When she found her grip her lunged at me. I dodged her knife and took it out of her hand. Then Suzy grabbed my wrist and tried to get the knife out of my hands. Then a hard force hit me and I flew across the roof top. I looked and saw Baekhyun looking at Suzy. He had the same caring eyes for her like he did when I got hurt. I noticed I had scraped my knee when I hit the ground.

"Taeyeon! What are you doing?!" he yelled. Then saw the knife. "You were trying to kill her weren't you?! You are even lower then I thought you were!" He then came over to and kicked the knife out of my hand. As I watched it fly to other side of the roof. I walked over to Suzy.

"Are you okay?" I asked concerned about Suzy. I had to be concerned since Baekhyun cared more for her than it seems than he does for me. Baekhyun pushed me away from them.

"Don't you ever touch her again Taeyeon. You may be my bodyguard, but if do something like this again. You'll regret it," Baekhyun said while glaring at me. They all left and I sat on the roof crying.

Taeyeon, why are you crying. You did the right thing by breaking up with him. I kept repeating to myself. I heard the door to the roof open, but I ignored it.

"Taeyeon! Why are you here?" I wiped my tears and saw Sunny. She ran over to me and helped me up. "Why are you crying?"

"The sky is really pretty," I said lying.

"Come on, let's go to my house," Sunny said pulling me along with her. We walked to her house and she brought me to her room. I sat down on her bed while she closed her door. I looked at Sunny suspiciously as she came to sit next to me.

"How did you know I was on the roof top?" I asked.

"I go up there to look at the sky. Now let me ask. Why were you there?"

"To look at the sky also," I said lying.

"I'm sorry if this gets touchy, but why is Baekhyun acting cold towards you lately?"

"We... I broke up with him... It was so he could be safe," I said looking down at my hands.

"Hm... I have some ice cream... Do you want to watch a movie?" Sunny asked looking at me.

"Is it strawberry?" I asked.

"Yup!"

"Yay! Before we do that can I shower here first?"

"Sure, let me get you some clothes," Sunny said getting up and going to her closet. She gave me a white T-shirt and grey sweat pants.

"Thanks," I said while leaving to go to her bathroom. I got into the shower and felt the warm water hit my skin. I felt calmer, and relaxed. I finished and changed into the clothes Sunny gave me. I walked out and saw Sunny had pulled out another bed for me to sleep on. I walked over to my bed and sat down on it.

"Hurry! I want to watch the movie!" Sunny said excitedly. I pushed my bed next to her's and watched the movie with her. We were watching Minions. Sunny laughed at this funny part, so I laughed also. The movie ended, so I fell asleep on my bed.

"Taeyeon, Taeyeon."

"Hm?" I asked tiredly as someone was tapping my shoulder. I sat up and saw Sunny.

"Why did you lie to me?"

"About?" I asked waking up fully.

"You said you were sick, but you weren't. The scar on your side looks like you had surgery."

"How did you know?" I asked nervously.

"You kept moving in your sleep so your shirt moved up a bit and I saw the scar, and the last time I remember you didn't have one." I checked the time. It was almost time for school.

"I need to talk to you and the girls at school," I said getting out of bed. Sunny changed into her uniform and we walked out of her house to the school.

"Thank you for being one of my best friends Soon Kyu," I said seeing the school in sight.

"Woah, are you okay Taeyeon? You're making it sound like you are going to die," she replied in a worried voice.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just going to be leaving town for a while," I responded while walking into the school. I then called everyone on my phone. When they all got here I took my necklace off and looked at it.

"Taeyeon, what's up?" Yuri said looking at me.
