Chapter 11: Found, but gone again

Tiffany's POV:

"Yah! Kim Taeyeon don't you know how worried you made us! You should've picked up!" Jessica yelled into the phone.

"Is the person who owns this phone Taeyeon?" we heard a female say.

"Who are you?" I questioned.

"I'm a nurse at the Butterfly Hospital. A female was admitted here not too long ago from a car crash. She just got out of surgery," the voice responded.

"Do you know when she will wake up?" Seohyun asked.

"We aren't sure of that yet, so we are monitoring her now." That's when I felt the mood in the room drop. No one spoke a word. I ended the call and looked at the other members. I walked out of the room and the others followed me. When we got to the street I saw Baekhyun running. We all ran towards him and stopped him.

Baekhyun's POV:

The group Girls' Generation stopped in front of me. I tried to go one side, but they moved to block my way.

"What do you want?" I asked looking at each of them. Jessica then held out an envelope.

"Here, this is from Taeyeon," she said in a sad tone. I looked at each of their eyes and notice they sparkled under the light we were next to. It looked like their eyes were filled with tears, but they were holding them back.

"I don't need it," I said not wanting anymore memories of her since that night.

"DARN IT BAEKHYUN! WE DIDN'T ASK FOR YOU TO REFUSE IT! TAEYEON WANTED TO GIVE IT TO YOU!" Tiffany yelled at me trying to get to me, but Sunny and Hyoyeon was holding her back.

"Tiffany, yelling isn't going to do anything," Sunny said to Tiffany while trying to hold her back.

"You don't even know her at all, and she went through all that trouble for a boy like you," Tiffany said again calming down and looking weak. I felt the surroundings become different. It filled with more sadness.

"Even if you don't want it, at least read it," Seohyun said quietly looking down. Jessica was still holding the envelope. I took it from her hand and felt something inside it move. Then they walked away, but they left me with the feeling of dread about Taeyeon. I finished my run and went to my house. I sat on my bed debating whether to open it or not. After staring at it for a minute I opened it and took the note out.

Dear Baekhyun,

I hoped this day never came, but if you are reading this chances are I might not be able to come back. I told the girls to give this to you if something like this happened to me. I'm sorry I am unable to help you throughout the time I was there. Remember the time I called you Bacon? I'm such a Pabo for getting hurt like this aren't I? (^-^;) Lately I see you have an interest in Suzy. I hope she can provide a better life for you, better than I could at least. Please forgive me for doing those things to you, so please just forget me and live a long and healthy life.

I figured I should return the necklace, so you can give it to a better owner. Also always remember 143, so when you find out the reason behind you can tell the person your heart belongs to.

I looked in the envelope and saw the necklace I gave Taeyeon. I took it out and looked at it.

How could I have been so stupid. She loved me this whole time, but I pushed her away. I thought to myself. I held my hand up, that held the necklace, and was about to throw it against the wall, but I stopped. This was the last thing I had of her. I laid down in my bed with more thoughts. Eventually I drifted off to sleep.
