For once, when Harry walked to Louis' room, there was someone standing there waiting. His blonde hair was pushed straight up, curving a bit, and he was looking down at his feet, his hands tucked into his pockets. "Excuse me, sir," Harry walked up to him, gaining his attention.

"Hi. Uh, I'm visiting Louis," he pointed lazily to the room behind him, where Harry could see Louis snoozing soundly with the door open.

"You can wake him. I was just coming to check up on him anyway. Check on his vitals," he said.

The blonde man looked hesitant, "Uh, I don't know if I should go in. He doesn't know I'm here. He's always been independent with this stuff, and didn't tell me he was here, so I don't know if he even wanted me to know, or come," he bit his lip.

Harry frowned, "I'm sure he'll have you, unless you're someone that he doesn't like. He's been in a good mood ever since he got here, so," he excused the part when Louis had cried himself to sleep after finding out his possible time left. He led Niall into the room, both smiling, seeing the angel-like boy sleeping soundly before them.

Clearing his throat, Harry walked towards the bed, glancing at the heart monitor and then back at louis with a slight smile. Louis slightly groaned, fluttering his eyes open to see the two men in front of his bed.

"Niall?" he asked, his voice was raspy and rough. Rubbing his eyes, Louis sat up fully gaining consciousness.

"Hey, mate," Niall smiled walking over, sitting down on the chair that was on the opposite side of the bed that Harry was at. "How are you feeling?" he asked a sad grin on his face.

"Ni," Louis tried but Niall interrupted him, "I'm no-"

"Wait, don't tell me I don't wanna know. You know how things like this make you feel," Niall whispered the last part sadly, harry could see the blonde headed boys eyes, and how they glistened from the tears that threatened to fall.

It really hurt Harrys heart to see the man who he now knew as Niall, sitting down next to who he could only assume was Louis best friend, practically in tears. Harry always seemed to get emotional over things like this and to top it all off it was emotional for him because he had gotten to know Louis quite well for the time he's been here.

Harry sighs, going through the normal procedure, checking the featherd hair boy up and writing down the test results as they came. Harry grabbed Louis arm, gently applying the blood pressure onto his arm, and writing down the information.

Louis was talking to Niall about some events that took place while Louis was in the hospital. They also talked about Louis sisters and family, as Niall had checked in on his sisters after Louis told them that he was in the hospital a few days before. Harry continued to take a few tests on Louis, also letting him talk to Niall because of how simple the tests were.

Little did Harry know, it wasn't Niall who had Louis full attention. It was in fact Harry. Niall was definitely not blind to see this either, which made him very mischievous.

Harry reached over Louis, grabbing something that hung on a nearby shelf. Louis looked at Harry, and the first thing that he saw was the beautiful green eyes that stared back at him. This made Louis feel something he couldn't quite explain that settled uneasily in the pit of his stomach. The closest he came to knowing what this was, was what his mother had described as butterflies. It scared Louis a bit. Of course he could think the doctor was cute, but he found himself actually developing feelings. It frightened him even more knowing that he may not make it out alive to share those feelings.
