"I was lying all along, You angels are so easily deceived" He smirks pushing her away
"No!, You can't. Please don't leave me" But it was too late now. Everyone had warned her not to trust a demon, but here she was, lying on the ground with the fire of hell burning all around her.

So-Eun woke up with a sigh, It had become an everyday routine for her to wake up from the same nightmare, But this time was gonna be different she was sure this was going to be a new start, Away from all the worries of her world, She was going to start a new life among the people she watched over once from heaven
"This is it" She mumbles getting out of bed and moving about her small apartment to find her clothes. It had been a month since she moved in and things were starting to get better already, but the memories still haunted her. She washed her face and stared at her reflection in the mirror. The dark circles and swelled up eyes she once had were now gone. The loud banging on the door made her groan and she walked out of the bathroom
"What?" She rages before realizing it was her landlord
"Rent" He barked at her
"I am so sorry but I don't have the money right-"  She tries to explain
"If I don't get the money by the end of this week you'll be out sleeping on the streets", It wasn't her fault, she had lost her magic and now she had to work at a cafe as a waitress to pay off her bills.Tying her hair in a high ponytail she walked out of the apartment locking the door and putting her keys in her purse alongside her phone
"So-Eun, You're late again" Miso, her co-worker whisper yelled
"I know I'm sorry" She apologizes putting on her apron. Dahee and Miso worked at the cafe with So-Eun, Even though there was a huge age difference between them they were still really good friends and So-Eun was lucky to work beside such nice and understanding people.Being so engrossed in serving the customers she didn't realize all the staff members had disappeared behind the counter
"So-Eun" Dahee came out from behind the counter hugging her
"What? Is everything okay," She asked worriedly
"My grandma died" She sobbed, Dahee's grandmother was the owner of the cafe, She was a kind old lady who had opened this cafe for her only granddaughter. Dahee's parents had died in a car accident, She didn't have any sibling, aunt or uncle. The only blood-related family Dahee had in her life was her grandmother and now she had passed away.
"I'm so sorry" She hugged the elder girl back comforting her. So-Eun knew the fact that Dahee's  grandmother was going to heaven, her parents had always told her about what kind of people went to Heaven and Dahee's grandmother was a selfless old lady, who cared about all the people around her.So-Eun tried to comfort the elder girl who was crying on her shoulder, as the regular costumers of the cafe prayed and then there was silence. It was the same silence as of the day she had left heaven to be with Soo-Hyun, Everyone was mourning the loss of someone they loved and cherished. Back in Heaven everyone loved and cherished her but she never realized, her love for him had blinded her
                                                                *---------------------------*

So-Eun had offered to clean up the cafe and close it afterward, while the Miso and Dahee went to see her grandmothers body in the hospital. She served the last person in the cafe and grabbed a small cupcake as she realized it was her birthday, It hurt her a bit to think that someone really close to her friend died on the day she was born, but it was the way the world worked and she just had to accept it. Turning the lights off she locked the doors of the cafe heading home. The streets of Icheon were cold and the cool breeze gave her chills as she walked past the few strangers in the street in the dead of the night. Grabbing the letter from her mailbox she unlocked the door, turned the lights on and set aside the cupcake on the counter. Taking off her sneakers she tore open the letter and gasped, It was a university scholarship acceptance letter
"But I didn't even apply" It came out as a whisper
"I applied for you" Came a familiar demonic voice from behind
