The bell rang. Akumano won with 200/30.
Crowd:
"They're amazing!" "That's the girls generation of miracles for you!" "Shiro is sooo cute~" "Kuroko is sooo epic~"
"They really love us. Aren't you glad Shiro?" Said Kuroko as she put the towel over her head. "We always win. Its normal that they love us." Shiro had already gotten used to the treatment so she stopped paying attention.
"What high school are you two joining?" Asked one of their teammates. "Seirin or Touou." Answered Kuroko. "Seirin or Kaijo." Answered Shiro. "Ehh. Those schools don't have a girls basketball team. Why join them?" Asked another one of their teammates.
"Cuz we're interested in their regulars." Said Shiro and Kuroko at the same time. "Sure you are." "Let's hurry up or we'll miss Rakuzan's game." Said their coach.
After they were done, they headed directly to the court where Rakuzan's and Shutoku's game had taken place.
Shiro's POV
'Overcrowded as always. There is no way Shutoku could ever beat Rakuzan. Not with Akashi on the team.' I thought.
"Let's head to the front. My glasses broke so I can't see well from up here." Said Kuroko as she started making her way to the front. I followed her without saying a word.
The game ended with Shutoku's defeat.
Kuroko's POV
"That was one hell of a game. And to think that Akashi told his teammates that if they lost he would have plunged his eyes out and given them to them just creeps me out." I said as I putted my arms behind my head and walked outside of the stadium towards the buss.
"Knowing him. He would've done it." Said Shiro with her normal poker-face expression. I felt someone starring at me and turned to see who it was. It was kind of hard to see their face since I didn't have my glasses, but I knew exactly who it was by the hair color.
"Akashi." I murmured loud enough for everyone to hear. "Sorry guys. There is something I need to do. See ya later." I said as I waved and jogged in Akashi's direction. As I got closer, I realized that he was alone. He looked towards me and told me to follow him. I did as I was instructed. We went to a field filled with flowers and grass. There wasn't anyone or a single bench around. Akashi turned towards me and looked me in the eye.
"Join Rakuzan." He said. He looked dead serious.
"Why? Rakuzan doesn't have a girl team and what would you achieve of me joining?" I looked at him. Not giving up my ground.
"You are to join Rakuzan as a guy and join our basketball team. This is an order." I could hear a snap. It was probably my nerves going out of control.
"What if I don't wanna? And who are you to order me?!" I fought back not realizing that I had opened the gates of hell.
"You dare disobey me?" He looked at me as if I were a mere insect that he needed to get rid of.
"Yes." I said as I crossed my arms in front of my chest. 'The nerve of this guy?'
"If you don't join then I guess you don't cherish your life." He said as he attacked me with a pair of scissors. I managed to doge in time, but that left a deep cut on my cheek that would leave a scar.
"Tch. You serious aren't you? Well it doesn't matter if I were to die or not." I said as I wiped some of the blood from my cheek with my hand. Akashi looked a bit surprised by my words.
"I don't really have a reason to live. Besides, it's not as if anyone will miss me if I were to disappear." I said as I started walking towards my house. "As for going to Rakuzan. We'll see if I pass the entrance exam. See ya later." I said as I waved bye.
Akashi's POV
That girl's eyes as she said that. They were completely different from before. They weren't filled with happiness, excitement and love as they usually were. No. They were filled with dullness and hatred. It was as if it was a completely different person standing before me. But that would explain why they call her The Devil Basketball Queen. Her ability also fits the nickname. Devil's Eye.
Her ability is similar to mine, but also very different. I can see how the opponents muscles move and know their next move before they've made it, but she, she can control the opponents mind at will. And if she controls their mind, she also controls their body. Even if it lasts one secound it could approve fatal in a game and she can control them for a whole ten secounds. But just as any ordinary human, she has a limit. She can only use it 3 times a day and she can't use it twice on the same person before 24 hours have passed.
"Captain. About that girl. Why do you want her to join our team so badly?" I looked behind me to see my team.
"I don't know." Despite her abilities, I don't really know why I want her on my team.
Kise's POV
Seirin won against us twice. Captain is crying and my legs can barely hold me. I was on the edge of total break down when she came along.
"You're Kise, right?" She asked. Her eyes were a beautiful light brown color and her hair was golden blond. Light colored skin and beautifully formed pink lips.
"Yes. How can I help you?" My mom always told me to be nice to girls and treat them with care.
"I was wondering if you had seen one of my teammates. My name is Shiro by the way." She said as she reached her hand to shake mine. I barely managed to get up on my legs but made sure she wouldn't notice that I was in pain and shook it.
"Sorry. I haven't seen anyone from your team around. Why don't you participate in games so often?" I asked her. Now that I was standing right next to her I could see that she was shorter than Kurokocchi.
"Too lazy. Do you know what Akashi would want with one of my teammates?" 'Wait. Did she just say Akashi? This can't be good.'
"Maybe he wants her to join Rakuzan. But then again, even if she is a good player, there is no basketball team for girls in that school." I said as I was thinking hard.
"I see. Well thanks for sparing time for me. I'll probably see you around soon." She said as she waved bye to me. I waved back and told her that the pleasure was all mine.
Shiro's POV
'He's kinda cute' I thought to myself. I took out my phone from my pocket and dialed Kuroko's phone number. After a few calls, she picked up.
"About time you pick up. How many times do you think I've called you?" I asked with an angry tone.
"Sorry. I was kinda busy." She apologized.
"It's fine. What did the captain of Rakuzan want with you anyways?"
"He wants me to go to Rakuzan as a guy and join the basketball team. Can you believe the nerve of that guy." She said trying to sound mad.
"You like him or something?" I asked with a small chuckle.
"No way. You know that Aomine is the only one for me!" She said. We both burst out laughing.
"Where are you right now?" I asked as I wiped a tear.
"Home. And get your ass over here."
"Got it. Be over in 15 minutes." I said excitedly before hanging up. The good thing about Kuroko's place was that it was really close to the stadium where most of the basketball games took place.
I walked to her house with a big smile still thinking of Kise.
