P.O.V Patrick
Carrie came running down the stairs looking as scared as I was. "Shit Patrick. They're back and now they've got Macy and Pete knocked out." She started to tear up. "I don't know what to do.." Carrie backed away from my door. "Patrick tell me what to do." I stuttered. "Carrie.. Carrie I can't. I don't know what you're supposed to do." She put her hands on her head. "We're gonna have to fight. Pete tried and nearly had him down. If we all try I'm sur-" Two men I've never seen before came down the stairs. "You." One of them pointed at me. "Ritual time." Carrie burst into tears. "No.. I need more time. Joe? Andy?" Andy and Joe gripped their cell doors. Carrie gasped and ran over to Joe's door to unlock it. "Miss Caroline we're under strict orders to stop your attempts at all cost." The taller one pulled her away but Carrie started kicking. "Carrie throw me the keys!" I yelled. The shorter one unlocked my door and tried to pull me out of the cellar. "CARRIE, JOE, ANDY. HELP ME!" I pointlessly shouted. "PATRICK!" Joe and Andy shouted in unison as they rammed at their doors. Carrie fought her best but failed and was put in a cell. It can't end like this.
P.O.V Pete
I heard a call for help from Patrick. "PETE! MACY!" "Macy we need to get out of here." I asserted, using my fingers to try and untie the rope. I couldn't bend my hands enough. "I know, I know. Right make your way to the drawer, there might be a pair of scissors or something." I shifted forwards . It wasn't easy but I made it to the end of the room. I banged against the drawers to try and open one. It fell onto the floor and a pen knife landed at my feet. "Pete, use your feet to try and pick it up." I took off my shoes and picked it up with my toes. "Okay, I'll try and flick it up. Watch your head." I laughed nervously. The knife shot up into the air and landed on my leg, inches away from cutting myself. "Now what?" I asked Macy. "Turn yourself round and I'll cut your ropes." She replied, also turning herself around. I shifted back towards her and she grabbed the penknife. Macy turned around and so did I. She began to cut my ropes. "Uh, be careful you don't cut my hands." She laughed, "Yeah I'll be careful." sliding the blunt end of the penknife across my hands. "Not funny, now hurry up." I joked. Once they were cut I took the knife from her and repayed the favour. "Okay Pete let's go save Patrick." Macy took a pair of keys from her top and the page I gave her a few days ago as well. She unlocked the door. "Spare keys as well?" I looked at her in disbelief. "Yup. Now be quiet." She demanded. We very swiftly sneaked down the corridors and into the basement at the other side of the house. "Okay, Patrick should be in-" We heard another shout from Patrick I gave Macy a nod and we burst in the door, sprinting down the long path. There was Patrick on his knees and a spirit going into him. I made a dive for him to take him away but I was way too late. He looked very similar to my first dream. This had to be it, but how do I save him. "Patrick? It's me Pete." Patrick looked at me. "Heheh, Patrick's gone." I backed away from him, fast. "No. He can't be gone. It says he can still communicate." Macy stammered reading the page several times. "If the spirit is weak." The thing savagely grinned. It climbed to it's feet and slowly walked towards us. "Why's it so slow?" Macy backed away. "Not enough strength?" The thing laughed.
"That's what you think." As it lashed onto me.
