Meet Rudy

Nursery

I woke up to the sound of Rudy wailing,  rubbing my eyes I sat up and went towards her, I picked her up holding her against my body and she snuggled her head against me stopping crying momentarily before starting to scream again making me jump.

I walked down stairs to make her a bottle, I looked at the clock to see it was 6:30am. I groaned looking at Rudy.

"I never get up at this time, this is all your fault,  but its ok daddy still loves you" I said, calling myself her daddy was so wierd

I got the bottle and sat down on the couch with Rudy in my arms, I put the teat into her mouth and she started suckling, I watched her cheeks fill up with milk then she would swallow it her eyes dropping back to sleep again, when she had finished I burped her and she burped twice before snuggling into the crook of my neck and falling asleep.

"Lou?" Harry whispered

I turned my head careful not to move Rudy

"we have a suprise for you, well Rudy" he grinned

I stood up placing Rudy on the couch surrounded by cushions so she couldn't fall even if she can't even roll over yet. I followed Harry upstairs and he led me to were we planned to have Rudy's nursery

"Har.." I started but he cut me off

"Sh, now come on" he laughed opening the door

We walked in and all the lads were stood in the middle of the room, they had painted the room 5 colours for each wall yes there was 5 walls. One was bright green,  one was purple,  one was pink, one was dark blue and the last one was red.

"guys this is.." I couldn't speak I bet I looked a right girl

"amazing?" Niall asked

I nodded my head before running into the circle have a group hug

"when did you do this?" I asked

"last night when you went to sleep" Liam said smiling

"its unique and perfect how did you decide to do it like this" I asked again

"well ha" Zayn said laughing nervously scrating the back of his neck

"We couldn't decide what colour we wanted to use" Niall said laughing.

We then heard a knock at the door then Rudy burst out crying

"you guys get the door I will see to Rudy" I commanded and they all nodded

"your doing a good job lads" I laughed with Rudy in my arms leaning on the door frame

"how about we swap you do some work" Niall laughed

"nah, you've started now" I winked and Niall laughed

"I can't do this!" Zayn moaned

I looked around the nursery,  the cot and dresser was up with a rocking chair and a wardrobe for Rudy,  all that was left was to put up curtains, the changing table and put all the finishing touches into the the room.

My arm seemed to be getting heavier and heavier and when I looked down i realised Rudy had fallen asleep and was breathing lightly.

"guys Rudy has fallen asleep I will be back in a minute" I said walking out the room. After putting Rudy on my bed i walked back into the nursery and started helping the boys so it would get done quicker.

I placed one final teddy on the windowsill and let out a breath of relief,  I let the guys go and rest while I put the finishing touches and I was finally done, I didnt realise actually how much clothes and nappies I had got for her. I heard a little cry but then someone shout that they got her.

I walked into my room anyway to see Niall holding Rudy close to his chest near the window

"and out there is the big wide world, and you daddy and Uncle Lou, Uncle Harry, Uncle Liam, Uncle Zayn and me Uncle Niall will show you, its going to be great. We are going to show you the world because we are in a band called One Direction and everyone well almost everyone loves us and they will love you too" Niall said kissing the top of Rudy's head

"I always wanted a little sister Rudy, but your the next best thing" He continued

My body chose this time to cough making Niall spin round and start blushing

"im sorry Lou" he whispered

"Niall dude don't worry, im glad she has you guys damn Im glad i have you guys I couldn't do it without you" I said moving forward giving Rudy and Niall a big hug

"lets show her, her room" I said excitedly

Niall carried her into the nursery and I followed behind

"Lou it looks great" Niall exclaimed

"well thanks to you guys" I smiled

"dude she's asleep" Niall laughed

I looked down at Rudy and sure enough she was asleep

"first time asleep in her new cot" I said

"she is always asleep this kid" Niall laughed his Irish coming out a little

I placed Rudy into her cot pulling the covers to her belly so if she moved her arms the covers couldn't go over her face, I put on the night light then switched the big light off making me and Niall slowly and silently creep out of the room as we could. I had also turned on the baby moniter and I had one in my hand so I could hear if she cried atleast I could shut the door

"I love you baby girl" I whispered into the room before shutting the door and me and Niall went downstairs
