"Oh everyone, this is the new student Alice" Ingrid announces as i polish off my-or Brandon's as i have learned- hot dog. "Shes from my English class"
"Um...hi" i respond tentively. It was kinda wierd inroducing myself with Brandon's arms wrapped around my waist. Which i wiggle uncomfortably, shooting him dirty looks.
"Im Naomi" the girl next to me grins, showing pearly whites. After that, i could barely keep track of all the new names and faces introducing themselves.
A girl-Raven i think-leans towards me from across the table. "Ive heard your in with the Covenant?"
My whole world crashed down around me within that millisecond.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Oh god no.
I mustve heard wrong, yeah that must be it.
"What was that?"
"Are you in with the covenant?"
"The Covenant? Is that some sort of club?" I laugh weakly, now suprisingly glad for Brandon's arms around me.
Guess some things follow you through life. Vanessa.

"I heard your in the lost family or whatever"
Ugh, i hope they dont know why i left.
"You heard a lot of things, care to mention where from?" With that, Raven leans back, smirking.
And with that, Raven leans back, smirking. I glare back.
"Hey, we were looking for you!" Azrail's voice registers in my brain
Still computing, i do a 180° in the seat, but epicly fail as i realize im still in Brandon's lap. Some how we manage to end up on the floor again with him under me. He groans.
"Not again"
I look up and see Azrail towering over me like the avenging angel he is. His blonde hair sparkles along with his mortal; yet immortal eyes.
Vanessa starts, wait! Angel! Hes one of the Pheonix's children! It all-
My attention got diverted to Azrail hauling me to my feet. I ignored Raven, still grinning evily in the backround. I lay still in his arms, mulling it all over.
You know how Vanessas in my head? Well, shes kind of like my spirit guide: handheld version. Every member in my family had one; the dreamkeepers, but thats not even half of it.
It's not the sort of family you'd think of. Were not any type of biological family. Well, we used to be.
When, we died a.k.a killed, are souls were reused like any normal person would be.
But our memories stayed with us, thats what "Vanessa" really is. A soul compiled of all my memories from past lives to help me use my powers. Thats why i think and act like a normal, hormonal teenage girl. *wink, wink*
In some ways, were immortal.
Thats not even the worst. Yes, worse.
We have powers that Lucifer-yes Satan-has given us. The kind of thing that would make a man destroy the world to feed his greed.
Thats where where Pheonix comes in. Bad always comes with some good; its basic knowledge in my past lives. I was Aphrodite, goddess of love to the Greeks. To Christians, im Adam's and Eve's child, but after that, they've got it all wrong. When they ate that apple, it gave them powers beyond your wildest powers.
The power to kill whoever.
The power to have any "love" partner you choose.
The power to control all others (except your clan members).
Pretty much the seven circles of Dantes inferno kind of stuff.
Anyways, Pheonix found out our powers and vowed to stop us with the help of "god" as you mortals call him. He limited us, so we can only use our powers in a specific state i can transfer to, but i have to wait until im sixteen for some reason.
But im scared.
My friends from Florida found out.
Then they weren't my friends anymore.
Well, they acted like it, but really, they just wanted to get a share of all of it.
Even Montye.
My true love and absolute soul mate.
Just thinking of him brought tears to my eyes.
Wait-where am i?
I look around and see all white.
Maybe im in heaven. Now THAT made me cry even more.
Yeah right, im a monster, even christ would kill me if he had the chance.
Its gonna be okay, Vanessa comforts, taking over. Ill take care of it. Then all my will leaves me and Vanesa takes over my body, consuming me for the time being.

Sooo, what do you guys think? It kind of puts a dark twist to it and it MAY HAVE BEEN just a little to early for that kind of scene, but i made it anyways :D
