"Fine," She spat. "Kill me. That's what I wanted anyway. Why do you think I jumped off that bridge? To swim? I thought lawyers were supposed to be smart." She said, sweeping the court room with a scathing gaze that made many people cough and shift their weight.
The Judge coughed nervously. He was relatively new, and this was his first major case. This bold, but clearly mad girl unnerved him
"Erm, So you are pleading guilty, correct?"
The mad girl rolled her eyes in complete exasperation.
"Yes." The girl said in a tone that could boil water.
The Judge gulped and tried to maintain control.
"Erm, Mister, Erickson, what do you say in this matter."
I stepped forward, smoothing my expensive suit, acutely aware of the girl's raging gaze trained on my back.
"Your Honor, may I suggest a solution before decided on the verdict?"
The Judge looked surprised, and shuffled through some papers in his desk to make sure it was allowed.
"Yes, you may."
I bowed my head appropriately.
"Thank you, your Honor." Steadying my self, for I knew this would cause an uproar in the court and cause this mad girl to go even madder.
"I'm propose that we send her into therapy and have someone house her during a month period to help her. If she is still set on," I paused not wanting to say the word but soildered on,"dying, then we will continue with the regular procedures"
Throughout my speech, murmuring had that had started and erupted into shouts.
Above all the bin, the mad girl's screeching could be heard.
"Bloody Hell, No! I will not do this! Are you mad? If you say yes to this absurd deal, I'll go jump off a higher bridge and make all of you watch it! NO!"
The Mad Girl stalked up to me, her green-gold eyes burning with fury and her chains clanking as made her way to me.
"If you don't retract that proposal right now, right bloody now, then I will bring you up on that bridge and make you jump with me." She said, spitting in my face. I forced to keep my face impassive even though I was slightly intimidated by this insane girl.
Glaring at me on last time, she stepped in front of the Judge. I narrowed my eyes. What's she doing?
"Ahem." She said, coughing slightly.
When the noise in the room refused to cease she did it again.
"AHEM." At last, the babbling died and all eyes focused in on her.
She did a little hair flip and waited for the Judge to acknowledge her.
"Would you like to make a statement Ms. Stevens?"
Her gaze hardened. Then, with a side long glance at me and she replied slyly, "More of like, a proposal. "
