A night to never forget (Jean x Marco au)

Welcome back...

     It had been about a year now since marco went back to the army and it had been very hard for Jean. Something felt special though when Jean woke up that morning and it wasn't the kind of special when it's your birthday. Nope it was the kind of special when you know the love of your life is coming back.

I woke up pretty early did my normal routine like always. Nothing really didn't change when marco got called back it just seemed like normal. I fed my animals talked with Eren and Mikasa and had some lunch there to. I went back home and got ready for my shift at the bar till I heard a knock at the door then a letter slide under. I picked it up and it said 'Jean' and of course I got a little freaked out because not alot of people know where I live. So I opened it and read what it said inside. I smiled and chuckled seeing what was written. The letter said. "It's been long but not to long but I'll see you soon very soon so go to the first place we ever went on a date and I'll see you there". It sounded like the person who wrote this was nervous but i just sighed and went with it. I smiled and continued doing my regular routine going out to the bar and then went to feed my horses and cattle. Once I got there I saw something red which looked like rose pedals leading to the barn where the horses were.
It was pretty late since the sun was going down but I shut off my truck and followed the trail. I smiled softly seeing old pictures of me and marco from when we met at the bar to when we had are first Christmas together. Everything was perfect till I stopped at a round table with one single candle and a white Rose. I teared up seeing the man I missed so much walk towards me.

"OK I shouldn't be this nervous. Get it together marco he'll love it" I looked up hearing the familiar sound of the truck Jean owned. I bit my lip and got ready seeing him walk into the barn. As he stopped at the table I had set up I took in a deep breath and walked towards him. I smiled happily seeing him walk up to me then started to run. I held my arms out and held him close.

"I missed you so much marco I didn't know what had happened to you or where were you I thought I had lost you" Jean said tears streaming down his cheeks as he looked up at his fiance. Marco didn't say anything all he did was kiss him as passionately as he could which said everything to jean. "I wanted to write to you but I was on the front lines, but don't worry I'm here now and no one will take me away."
After they reunited they went to eat their dinner at the round table that was set and talked all night long till they had to leave back home. Let me tell you after that they never left each other.
