I have broken a SkyWing law. I have hidden something that I should have revealed long ago. I am animus. I only ask that you allow me to live long enough to see my egg hatch. I will do whatever you wish after that.
I have created an amulet. A talisman. I made it for her to have when she turns eight and can begin to learn the ways of war.
I also enchanted another one. I gave it the following traits:
1) After the next two spells are cast on this necklace, become immune to any animus spell no matter what.
2) Once put on someone, never be able to be removed.
3) Kill the wearer if they ever go insane from using animus powers.
I hope this necklace that I wear will convince you to let me see her hatch. I have always been loyal to you, my Queen. I'll do anything you ask of me for the good of this tribe: including giving up my own life in order to protect it from myself.

Dear Dawn,
I have received your letter (What a secret you have!) and have considered this. You have broken the law, but in this war, we need every advantage that we are able to get.
I have decided to let you live, on one condition: you find someone to raise your dragonet after the egg has hatched. I then request that you take part in this war. Come to my palace and we will discuss there.
I have decided not to punish you, but your dragonet must be tested as an animus dragon the moment he/she can speak. I cannot allow this dangerous trait to spread. When your dragonet is old enough, they too must join you in war. Give them this necklace that you foreshadowed held great power. When you come to the palace, show it to me so I can see what it does.
Do not reply to this message. I already have your secrets at risk writing THIS note! Speak with me after your egg has hatched. When you enter the palace, tell the guards I wrote you to enter, then say, "By Vastia, she's expecting me!" It's a code that they know. Use it to get in and tell it to no one at all!
