The concrete was cold against my body. My head was resting comfortably on something warm and hard. I lifted my eyes up slowly, taking in my surroundings. Suddenly remembering where I was and what my head was resting on.

I shifted my head to look up at Parkers face.

"Nice sleep?" He rumbled quietly, looking down at me.

"Yeah, thanks." I whispered, "what time is it?"

Parker pulled his phone out the pocket of his jeans and the bright screen flashed displaying the time.

9:15 pm.

"Oh my gosh!" I cried sitting up bolt right, "I've been asleep for ages!"

"Ellie, calm down." Park said grabbing my wrist, "my mum rang yours and she said you could stay over because you were out like a light, I mean if that's okay with you," He mumbles shyly.

"Oh okay," I smiled, "thanks Park."

He shrugged, giving me a small smile.

I laid back down next to Parker, staring up at the stars again, this time with at least 10 centimetres of space between us.

There was a crisp, fresh coldness to the night that was making me shiver without Parkers warmth, or you know my jumper.

"Are you cold?" Park questioned with a raised eyebrow.

"No." I replied quickly, a bit too quickly I think.

"Here." He said softly pulling off his sweater and handing it to me.

I looked at him smiling, that has to be the cutest thing anyone has ever done for me.

"Thanks Park," I breathed pulling the sweater over my head.

I was instantly incased in warmth. His sweater was a little bit big on me, I had to stretch to get my hands out the sleeves and it bunched around me, but it was so warm.

We fell into a comfortable silence again, both staring up at the stars.

Well it looked like I was staring at the stars but I was really smelling Parkers sweater.

I couldn't help it, it smelt amazing. The smell reminded me of a forest, I could smell the trees, the flowers, the dirt, I could practically feel the grass under my feet.

Oh my god, I'm such a creep.

You can tell that winter is coming because after I got over the initial warmth from the sweater I could feel the coldness seeping through again.

Before I knew it I was shivering, again. I have no idea how Parker isn't as cold as me when I'm wearing his sweater.

"Come on," Parker sighed standing up slowly.

I stood up next to him violently shivering in the cold air.

Parker pulled me into a hug that flowed the warmth back into me like water into a river.

He had his chin resting on the top of my head, and his arms around my waist. I sunk into him, wrapping my arms around his waist, embracing the warmth and listening to the steady sound of his heart beating.

We stayed in that position until I stopped shivering, which admittedly took quite a while. Although neither of us admitted, I could tell we both took the hug as a silent confirmation of him finally accepting our friendship.

"All good?" Parker asked quietly, I could feel his chin moving on top of my head.

"Yeah..." I breathed, nodding my head against his chest.
