November 29th; Twenty Six Days Before Christmas

"She called me pretty, Caspar!"

In her almost unconscious state, Misaki could hear faint chatter and soft music playing in the background. She was not sure of her surroundings but she felt well rested for the first time in over a year.

Everything started getting clearer in her head as the sleep completely disappeared, she jolted up from where she was lying down hurriedly and looked angrily at the two men sitting in front of her on the couch, who had a panic stricken expression painted on their faces.

"What the fuck did you two bloody do to me?" Misaki shrieked out loudly and stomped her feet on the carpeted floor like a two year old.

Caspar got up from the couch and stepped forward to calm Misaki down but she shot him a menacing glare. "Come near me, I dare you, and I won't mind biting you."

Jack sighed tiredly and clicked his fingers causing her to suddenly fall back down on the couch she was previously lying on. He mumbled words to himself which prevented Misaki from making even a single sound from her throat, it was as if she she was tied down by invisible ropes.

"This would have never happened if you would have cooperated with us, Ms. Perez," said Jack with a guilty expression.

Misaki was openly struggling, trying desperately to scream profanities at the two strangers but she was utterly shocked and confused as well. She was not sure what had all of a sudden occurred which brought her in this position.

Caspar was watching the whole scene unfold with amusement twinkling in his eyes, he was enjoying every single moment of the struggle Misaki was going through, and she was quite aware of it as well. Once she got out of whatever this was, she would beat these two bloody morons to pulp, she thought to herself.

"That was like, so cool, dude, I never knew we could do that," Caspar gave Jack a high five and looked at him with adoration.

With a chuckle, Jack sat down on the floor in front of Misaki and stared up at her in complete concentration, "You're Caucasian along with Japanese, right, Ms. Misaki?"

She continued scowling at the man sitting in front of her, completely ignoring his question. Misaki tried to stand up but all her efforts went in vain, never in her life of twenty three years had she ever felt so frustrated and vulnerable.

It would be a lie to say that the black haired beauty was not starting to get afraid of the two young men. She feared that they would take advantage of her and she wouldn't be able to do a single thing regarding the issue, due to her state.

Jack could sense the change in Misaki's mood and commented with a haunted expression, "Don't worry, Ms. Perez, we mean no harm to you, we are just here to guide you."

Caspar joined his friend on the floor and nodded his head in agreement, "We are your helpers for the Yule Tournament starting from the first of December."

There was complete and utter confusion etched on the poor girl's face. Misaki had no memory of entering any game, despite the fact that she had a hobby of entering food eating competitions and always winning the first price with a tummy ache that turned into diarrhoea after a few hours. She tilted her head sceptically and frowned.

On noticing her perplexity, Caspar continued on with a wide charming smile, "The Yule Tournament is a three weeks championship that takes place in the North Pole after every forty six years for the purpose of finding the person who will take over the position of the present Santa Clause."
