waverly~
Waverly here. Maybe I should explain this 'shorts catching on fire' business.
Whenever Amber gets excited or overly-any-emotion, some random body part of hers catches on fire. Usually, I end up having to put out her hair for her or lending her some extra clothing. We only understand one thing about the capricious wild fires: they have to be put out. I'm the only one that knows about that though. And, she's the only one that knows about my...little issues. (But we obviously dont have any need to dwell on that thought.)
Enough on that. I MEAN C'MON I GOT US INTO THIS SURFING CONTEST WE'VE ALWAYS WANTED TO GET INTO. WHAT'S NOT TO TALK ABOUT? (Maybe Amber is right; I should probably invest in some chill pills.)
After I took amber down to the beach to solve her flaming trousers issue, I told her all the details:
a.) You must be between the ages of 14 and 18 {check} and must have a parent or guardian's permission {and check}
2.) You must physically be able to surf and you must have placed in the Little Beguile Aulis Surfers contest {double check}
III.) You must sign and agree to the terms & conditions { yes i 'read' them all}
Whole loads of other unimportant stuff were also mentioned, but ain't nobody got time for that. Her brothers, Preston & Weston, were competing in their last year as 17 year olds and my own twin brother, Chip, would also be competing.
"This is going to be the best thing that has ever happened to me, Waverly. Mark my words: this is going to be a great year" wismed the ever optimistic Amber.
"Yeah? Well, I think so too," I replied as I pushed her and her non-existent muscles into the surf. "Starting right now," I finished with a gleeful smile.
