"W-what??" This was insane. All I could think about was stuff like, why me? and I'm so confused.
"I...just...I don't want to make this awkward between us...but if you give me a chance I-"
"But we can't be together!" I didn't mean to cut him off but I really needed to get this out.
"Don't you like me? I don't get it."
"Yes! I do and have but-"
"Then let me come with you. No one will know. I won't tell anyone and I can have someone tell everyone that we were captured by hunters. Please. You don't understand! I need you, you're my everything."
Oh my gosh. Who knew the best day ever would turn into some soap-opera.
"I just can't do that to Jamin...I'm so sorry but I have to go alone."
"You have feelings for him don't you...?"
"No he's just a friend but he's not just a friend he's my BEST friend. He would kill himself if I disappeared."
He shuffled over and we embraced for about 15 seconds but it felt like a year. I wanted to stay there forever, but my sister was waiting.
"Promise you'll come back. Or I might kill myself."
"I will...try"
He stared at me I saw his eyes tearing up, then he turned his head and walked out of his cave.
