The chapter name is a song by the fray now READDDD!
Stranger POV
I decided I don't know the man. he picks up a glinting object in his hand and continuously slashes at his wrist over and over. I walk closer. there is more blood than I would've imagined.
In collage, I am studying to be a psychiatrist. There was a chapter on cutting and regret.
I remeber........
It was a cold day September 29, 13.
I decided to sit down in the foyer at the collage main office and read one of my midterm based books.
Knowing the right ways to deal with certain situations. chapter 1-5 was about sexual harresment and abuse.
6-15 was about suicide. the chapter 6 name.
What is wrong with the world today?
The autor had written," We all have that time in our lives where the going gets rough. Some in college. Some have it in adult hood and some have it in childhood."
Steps to talking to people who consider suicide.
1) don't ask why?
This will put them in a state of grief thinking about why making them less likely to open up.
2) listen well
Listen to what they have to say make them feel "special"
3) make them feel that they have a purpose on earth.
Convince them that their talent that they have or gift can change the world and without out it the world would be a bad place.
4)ALWAYS talk in comforting voices.
Never yell or scream or even raise your voice this could bring them into another reason they want to die.
{flashback over}
So I will put that to use now. I finished the class with an A. I am approaching the man now silently and quickly.
The gashes look deep I look in my brief case and pulled out some gauze and peroxide. and suddenly ran toward the man. Always carrying a first aid kit with me, never know what could happen.
But yes, I do know him!!!! That is Branson Dez's brother. I helped him a lot in the past.
I had to act quickly. He's aggressive when confronted. I ran and grabbed the glinting object while he lunged, swung, and kicked to stop me from preventing his self destruction. I threw the object aside and held him in place. Once he realized who I was he calmed himself and I began to bandage his wrist.
