I heard it and saw a glowing light emmiting from a source from a hallway on the other side on the room. I grabbed my compass and ran like 'The Herobrine' was chasing me. Although it wasn't him I prefer it over what was really after me...

A Lava-Tsunami

I ran and ran while embers stung my back, I almost dropped the Red Pearl at one point but I was able to save it. I felt the heat on my heels as I saw the moonlight outside I screamed as I FINALLY ran out of that dang place, or jumped. I looked back as the whole temple was engulfed in the fire. "Well, I hope they have insurance." I tucked the pearl in my inventory alongside some earlier loot I gained from a dungeon. And walked off panting like a wolf.

I decided to stay at a hotel in a local desert village nearby and paid with some gold nuggets. I recieved the key and decided to drink some potions at the local restaurant, I sat with some other explorer at the table as I drank some speed potions to keep myself awake. "Um hi there." I asked, she nodded and looked at my bag I took out my dungeon loot but not my most recent find in fear it might be stolen "That's pretty average, for an explorer of your level."

She smiled "Yeah it's pretty cool." I said trying to conceal the pearl but I was unsuccesful "Wow! What is that?!" She asked in awe "Oh umm nothing. Heh." I stuttered "Oh come on! I wanna see!" She pressed her head against my shoulder and puppy-dog eyed me "Oh well." I gave in "I took out the glowing sphere and showed it to her. "Oh my notch!" She gasped "Yeah it's pretty cool." I humbly stated "I don't know what it's called but it's pretty aweso-." I said, right before she took it from my hand and ran off...
