Chapter 9: The Mesan Docks

My skin was nothing but a blackish hue. My cloak was starting to get bleached by the sun and torn by the ground. I was afraid she would notice... And surley enough, she did "Oh my notch! Phil? What's happening to you!?" I sighed and held back my cringing as the voices became stronger and stronger
"Maul! Kill! Discombobulate! Shread!"

I sighed and told her the truth about why I needed to get to my hometown "The pearl... It was broken, and now I'm sure you didn't do it." I admitted "Well, how does that fit in with why your skin is turning black?" She asked "Well... I think it was the pearl's doing, It is the reason I'm turning into this." I motioned at my whole body and paused before I said what I was also going to say "And is the reason I tried to... kill you last night." I looked away after saying that last part, I heard a gasp and footsteps walking towards me, then a hand was placed on my back. "Why?" She asked "Because of voices in my head." They are trying to tell me to do bad stuff like trying to kill you in your sleep." I continued my walk to the Mesan Docks while she followed close behind...

**2 hours later**

"We're here!" I proclaimed "What a du- I-I mean... It's pretty cool." Keira commented about my home town. It wasn't really much, twas a small place with a few houses out of cobblestone. And with as it's name suggests, a dock. "Hey! Phillip! My man!" A familiar voice called out "Well well well! By the notch! Johnathan Beckers, is that you?" I smirked and ran to my best friend "Whoa! What's with the black face?" He asked in surprise

"Been swimming in lava with pigman babes?" He asked

"No!" I shouted defensively and punched him on the shoulder. "Well, ouch." I told him what was happening with me and that I was changing..." His mouth hung open when I finished "Uhhhh... Well looks like you've been through alot lately! And who's this charming little cutie? And what are you doing in a run-down place like this?" He smiled and looked at Keira "She assisted me on my journey here. She can go back to her hometown if she wishes..." Keira stared in disgust "I'm not leaving here until I know you are well!" She argued "Fine, come on guys let's go find Father Toro! He may be able to help us with you're demon situation." Johnathan said, Me, Keira and Johnathan went to visit Father Toro and cure me of this sickness, but let me say it right now!

It didn't end well...
