I layed down the pearl beside me on a nearby table next to my bed. It was a very long day and I wanted some much needed rest after that whole thief thing that happened awhile ago. Anyway Imma go to sleep, goodnight!

**Right after he goes to sleep**

The pearl started shaking, something wanted to get out. It kept shaking until it rolled and then it started trying to gain momentum until finally it forcefully fell onto the ground shattering and releasing a dark-scarlet mist that circled the room for a few times before entering Phillips' nose and mouth. The man never notices and just rustles the sheets slightly as if he had a slight nightmare...

**9 hours later**

I woke up ready for the day ahead and noticed something was missing... "THE PEARL IS GONE!!!" I panicked and looked around frantically and accidentaly stepped on a glass shard "YEEOWWWW!" I poured a healing potion on the wound and inspected the shards, it was near the table and seemed to form a spherical shape...

"Someone smashed it..." I came to the conclusion and quickly got dressed to speak to the police I reached the doorknob and I noticed something...

My hand was turning black...

I did not know what to do, I never got into a situation like this. "I need to conceal it." I told myself, I quickly got a glove and placed it onto my hand, hiding it. I walked to the police and they said that I was the only player staying at the hotel at the moment. That got me thinking... "It must've been that girl!" I thought. I thanked the chief before leaving the station to go find her and give her a piece of my mind.
