Chapter4: Audition day and butterflies

HOPES POV-

I left for LA when I woke up this morning, I finally got to the arena after a 2 hour drive. I went to the registration table and got my number then went to wait in the longest line ever. I was sitting there trying not to freak out when all of a sudden I hear someone say my name. I look up and see Keaton, Wesley, and Drew, "Hope," Wes said looking confused," What are you doing here?" "I don't know anymore I'm freaking out Wes, I can't do this I'm gonna pass out, I'm freaking out right now, I haven't sang in 3years since I lost my cousin and I don't think I can do this I just.." Wesley shook me and shouted, "HOPE CALM DOWN! Everything's gonna be okay Savanna has showed me and the guys videos of you singing, you're amazing, you belong here okay, so calm down it's gonna be okay, I'm not gonna let you walk out of here and miss the biggest opportunity of your life, do it for your cousin, she would want you to do this so calm down it's gonna be okay.." He then pulled me into a big hug and rubbed my back... Something about it felt right, I couldn't explain it, I barely know the guy and he knows all this stuff about me and is making me feel better, why? Then I heard my number being called Wes let go of me, cupped his hands on my face, looked into my eyes, and said," I believe in you, we believe in you, your amazing, so go out there and rock it okay?" I nodded while smiling then walked on stage. The crowd was cheering for me and then Demi said, "Hi, what's your name, how old are you and where are you from?" I responded shyly," Hope Jordyn, I'm 16, and I'm from Carrollton Georgia but just moved to Huntington Beach California a couple days ago." "Ohh.. Well welcome to California sweety and what are you gonna sing for us today?" Demi said sweetly. "Uh.. Jar of hearts by Christiana Perri" I said. Then she nodded and the music started.

I finished my song the crowd was standing and screaming and cheering for me, Demi was in tears, Brittany was in tears, and simon and LA were smiling, they sat there not talking for awhile which made me nervous. They finally gave me their feedback, it was amazing I got 4 yeses and I ran off the stage crying, I saw Wesley and some reason I felt like the need to hug him. "Wes!" I shouted. He turned and looked at me puzzled. I yelled out, "I got four yeses, I made it!" His eyes widened and he came running towards me, he hugged me and picked me up off the ground and span me around, the other guys came running to me and they were hugging me so tightly, "See, I knew you could do it." Wesley said while hugging me, he put me down, they were then called on stage, I wished them luck, Keaton and Drew went through the curtain while Wes looked back at me and smiled. I was so happy right now, for some reason my stomach was fluttering. I just hope Emblem3 make it through to!!!
