Ghost? mgc

part 1

I woke up at the sound of my alarm clock , basically, the breadwinners' soundtrack. Who said it is for 5-year-olds?

I took a look at my phone to see it was 9:30 and it was Saturday morning. But why had I set an alarm clock on a Saturday?

I took a look around and I wasn't at my baby blue covered-in-posters room. Instead I was in an unknown room covered in similar posters with mine.

"Where am I? "I whispered and then the door opened to reveal the blond boy I met yesterday wet with a towel around his hips. He wasn't as well built as Ash was but he was kinda hot though.

"You know staring is not polite. And good morning."
I could feel my cheeks turning red and I looked down at my lap.

"Good morning to you too. Luke, why did I wake up here?"

"You fell asleep at the hospital and I was really tired so Ash texted your mum that you would sleep at his place, Ash stayed at the hospital and I brought you here." He explained as he was looking for clothes in his closet.

"Wow, uhm thanks."
"No problem cupcake."
"Cupcake?" I said confused narrowing my eyebrows.
"It is a nickname for you before I find something better.I find nicknames for everyone."
He looked at me and smile widely. He had a really cute smile decorated with a cute black lip ring.
"Hahah okaay and what's yours?" I chuckled.
"Lucas or Hemmo or Lukie, it depends."

We were sitting in silence, of course the awkward kind.
"So... what are you doing today?"
By that moment he was all dressed up and sitting beside me on the bed scrolling down on his phone.

"I was supposed to hang out with Ash but I don't think so. I guess I will-" I was cut off my phone ringing and it wasn't my mother as I expected. It was my sister Demi. She was going to college in New York because she hated Australia but she said she would be at the airport today at...
"OH MY GOD" I stood up looking for my shoes and jacket as I answered the phone.

"Hey kid, are you at the airport yet? I'm almost there."
I put on my shoes and Luke mouthed me that my jacket was downstairs.

"I'm on my way don't worry."
I rushed downstairs without waiting for Luke.
"First of all I can hear you running okay? Just please hurry up." And she hang up on me.

"What's wrong?" Luke asked clearly confused.

"My sister is on her way to the airport and I really have to get there that's why I had the alarm clock set. I was supposed to go there with Ashton but now I have no idea. She wants to surprise our mother and I will ruin it."
"Well I can drive you." He offered.
"You really don't have to."
"No, no it's  okay I'll take you to the airport and then I'll go to the hospital to check on Mike."
"Thank you so much Luke."

He took the car keys and we headed to the driveway and got in his car.

Almost 15 minutes later we made it to the airport's parking lot.

I stormed out of the car and into the airport in case I was there in time.

I took a look around to see if I could see my sister, as I couldn't spot her in the crowd. She wasn't at the airport yet, I assumed, but a couple of seconds later the brown haired short girl caught my eye. I weaved towards her and when she saw me she weaved back and started running to my direction.

"Sis, you have no idea how much I've missed you." She said squealing.

"I was about to say the same thing."

"And where is Ash? Who is this?"
She pointed behind me and I turned around to find Luke behind me standing with a big smile.

"Luke, you followed me here?" I asked clearly confused.
"I wanted to meet your sister. Hey I'm Luke, I'm your sister's new friend Ash is at the hospital, taking care of our best friend."

"Hi I'm Demi and I just came from New York to surprise my mum. Oh honey, you lost the bet." Demi pointed to me.

"Hey this isn't fair!" I almost yelled.

"What bet?" Luke asked after clearing his throat.

"We had put on a bet because she is ALWAYS late, that she would be late today too. She said she wouldn't and we put on that bet and the loser would have to spend a night in the haunted house."

"Wow."Luke blurted out.

"I'm not going to do it!"

"Are you afraid?" Ashton asked.
"Are you kidding me? Of course I am!"

By that moment we were parked out of the haunted house.
Me, Ash, Luke and Demi.

"Can one of stay with me at least? The bet said I have to stay the whole night at that house. Not that I have to stay alone."

"Yes but I want to sit with mum and the guys have to go to the hospital." Dem said.

"Ugh I'm going in, wish me luck."

I hope you guys like it, I've never written something similar and I feel pretty odd about it because I usually write about teen romance.
