I got in the creepy house shaking. It was just so big and a shiver was taking me over every time I was walking outside of it the past few days and now ,I was in it.

Thank God it had only one floor. I turned on my flashlight and start looking around the house.

There was a kitchen, two bedrooms and a huge living room with a couch in the middle of it. I just took a look, without getting into every single room as I was kind of scared to death.

Do I believe in ghosts?
No.

But I was completely freaked out. I mean it is a semi-destroyed, abandoned house at the end of the road, maybe criminals were coming here or maybe there were bats or wolves.

Am I afraid of those things?
Yes.

I guess the only good thing was that there were no freaky sounds.

And of course that's when I heard steps coming from the bed room.

Dammit.

I tried to hide under the kitchen table but I wasn't sure if it was a good place to be hidden.

After some seconds the footsteps were getting closer and I could feel my heart racing. My breath became heavier and as it was dusty my nose started itching me aaand that's when I sneezed.

I could see the shadow approaching and when the fabric that covered the old table was lifted, I just closed my eyes and screamed.

When I opened them up I saw a boy screaming with his eyes closed.
I was still kneeling under tha table and tge boy was kneeling right in front of me.

"What do you think you're doing here?" He yelled as he stood up.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know somebody was living here!" I yelled back still kneeling down.

I stood up and as I did I hit my head at the table.

"Ouch"

"Are you okay?" He asked calmer and kind of worried.

"Yeah I'm fine. Uhm since when have you been living here?" I asked completely confused.

"2 days. I don't actually live here."

"What's that supposed to mean?"

He just sighed, and headed to the living room.

I went after him just being curious.

I was just looking at him. He looked so familiar but I was still too scared to remember.

He had green eyes, blond spiky hair and he was really tall, almost as tall as Luke.

"Why are you here?" He went and stood by the fireplace

" I'm  here because I lost a bet. Do I know you?" I asked as I took my phone in my hands and sat on the dusty couch.

"What kind of bet? Maybe, I don't know. You look familiar too." He came and sat on the couch with me.

"So,why are you here?" I asked staring down at my lap.

"Well to be honest, it's complicated." He asked looking completely confused and lost.

"Ohh, I shouldn't bother you, I'll just go home." His presence was really mysterious and I was too freaked out to stay one more minute at that place.

"It is actually really nice talking to somebody after 2 days. Please stay... I know I look really weird and I may freak you out but I need some company. I swear I won't hurt you." He tried to hold my hand but it just went through his.

"Ho-ow d-d-id you d-do tha-at?" I stuttered.

"Please don't be afraid! I don't know how or why this is possible but I'm  something like a ghost."

"Ghost? But how... I mean ghosts aren't real... I ughh... but why something like a ghost?"

"I'm in a comma so, I'm not dead or alive. I'm between that and I'm here trapped." Something in his eyes was telling me that he is honest but I had no idea if I should trust him or not. I was calmer by now and he was the one looking kind of terrified and I still couldn't understand why.

"I'll stay..." I blurted almost whispered but it was enough for his frown to turn into a big smile on his face.

"I wish I could hug you right now. What's your name? Like your full name?"

"Hahah I'm Louise Diane Henderson. And you?"

"I'm Michael Clifford."
