Mitch's POV

I leave the hospital and get into my car to go get Jerome.

On the way there I was listening to the radio. My favorite song, On Top of the World by Imagine Dragons, came on and I started singing along:

Man, I love this song.

I pull up into the driveway. I get out of the car and I lock it. I start walking up the path to the door when someone comes up behind me and puts me in a head lock. Luckily I know a bunch of self defense so I easily got out of it.

I dont know how to fight tho so when I got out of the head lock the guy punched me in the arm which hurt like a bitch. I tried fighting back but it was no use. The guy punched me in the eye and I fell to the ground. I was too weak to get up. The guy took out a knife and cut little slits on my ankle. Before he left, he kicked me in the stomach and punched me in the face again and just like that he left.

I was too weak to get up. I started getting light headed, my eyes were slowly closing. And the last thing I remember is the sound of a cell phone ringing.
