I woke up with Peri's head resting on my shoulder. I blushed, but didn't move. She smiled.
"Good morning, my star. How was your sleep?" Peridot proceeded to explain that I had fallen asleep while we were watching CPH.
"You're just too comfy," I murmured sleepily. She laughed quietly.
"I suppose I am. Although I don't quite know how a triangle can be comfy." I snickered and got up to eject the tape from the TV.
"Ok, you silly Dorito." She blushed and playfully punched me in the arm. I laughed and kissed her forehead.
"If you're going to sleep this often, perhaps we should ask Steven for a bed."
"Only if you sleep or cuddle with me." After almost two weeks, I didn't blush as bad anymore. But I still blushed enough for it to show.
"Hahaha okay babe. If that's what you want! I'll definitely comply." We laughed as we headed to the warp pad. We stepped up on it, and Peri warped us to the temple.
When we got there, Steven looked up from his TV. He saw us, smiled as wide as I think his little face could go, and jumped off his bed down to the floor level we were on.
"Lapis! Peridot! I missed you guys so much!" He engulfed us in hugs. The sweet little thing didnt even notice we are holding hands. He stepped back, and saw us standing close together and holding hands.
"Did you two finally get together? What am I saying, of course you did! Yes! I have been waiting so long for this! Hold on, I made you guys something." He pulled out a cheesy heart shaped paper with a picture of Peri and I holding hands.
"Haha thanks Steven!" She bubbled the picture and sent it home.
"Yeah, thanks. But we are here for matters a little more pressing. We need to you to help us pick out a bed. I seem to be dozing off a lot lately, and the bed of the truck isn't very comfy." He smiled and nodded.
"Of course!"
