Chapter 8

Maddys POV

I woke up in a grey and blue room. At first I was confused but then it all came rushing back.

I heard footsteps on the stairs and I knew they were getting closer. I acted like I was asleep and soon after someone opened the door. "Princess I know your awake." it was Skylan.

I felt the side of the bed dip and I rolled as far away from him as possible. Only for him to pull me closer. " Don't ignore me baby girl, I know your awake. Open your pretty little eyes." When he was saying that he pulled me into his lap where I was straddling him.  I immediately shot my eyes open and punched him in the face.  He fell back and looked mad. I did the first thing that popped into my head. Run. That's what I did and I ran hard.  I opened the door and found stairs. I heard footsteps padding behind me. Its.... HIM.   OH MY GAHWD!!!!  I ran as hard as I could and I could feel it in my legs. It hurt and I knew if I stop I would be caught.  I need to get out of here.

I was looking for a door that led to outside. I found one in the living room. I was two feet away from the door when two strong arms wrapped around my waist and pulled me back. I already knew it was Skylan from his smell and the way he was breathing.

I was screaming and crying when he put his hand over my mouth. I instantly tried to bite him, but me being me I failed. I only got a small piece of his skin to bite.  I started to sob and I let it all out. He just held me there and whispered sweet nothings into my ear.

After a while I calmed down and I asked him a question that I have been meaning to ask for a while.

I got a piece of paper and wrote. 'When am I going home?!'

"Baby you are never going back to that place again. Do you understand me?!?!"

I didn't respond instead I looked down.

"I Said Do.You.Understand.Me?!"

I'm now crying and I nodded my head yes.

"Good" he said. He set me on the couch and said he would be right back.

Now is my chance to run. As soon as he was out of sight a took of in a sprint to the door. I opened it and ran out side. The bad thing is. WE WERE IN THE WOODS!!! I looked around for a  road or sign. Nothing. Soon I heard Skylan calling my name. I didn't waste anytime standing around. I made a mad dash for it to the woods. I would rather die than be stuck with a kidnapping creep. I got to the woods and heard heavy footsteps behind me. I ran farther into the woods and jumped over a big log. His footsteps were getting closer and closer every step I took it seamed like he took three more. Soon he was right behind me and I could almost feel him.  There was a log in the way so I jumped only to be pulled back down by two strong arms.

"What are you thinking?!!!!" He said when he turned me around.

"You could have gotten hurt, do you not understand that you are not going back to that house ever again, Never again. This is your home now."

By this point I was crying and he was wiping my eyes. "Come on lets go home." He tried to pull my arm by I stood my ground.

"Come on baby lets go" He said again trying to pull my arm.

"Please don't fight me right now I'm giving you two choices you either come with me or I will pick you up and take you back the house." He pulled my arm one last time.

"fine if that's how you want to be" As soon as he tries to pick me up I push him down and run. I don't get that far because he picks me up bridal style and starts walking back to the house. I'm crying, beating on his chest, and kicking him. He is trying to hold me down and walk at the same time.
