Hey guys. I'm not good at writing. I'll try to update but this book isn't anything special. I just love this ship and felt like making an AU.

I couldn't see my talking classmates, my head was resting on my desk and my eyes were closed. The longer I could ignore them before first period started the less I'd be influenced by their idiocy. After all, stupidity happens to be contagious. However I couldn't ignore their irritating chatter, and no matter how hard I try to tune them out I couldn't help but eavesdrop, silently judging every comment.

"Jasper let go, you ass. That hurts." I heard girl said, and although it was supposed to sound like she was joking there was a sense of stern anger in it.

"Seriously? Grow a backbone. I'm only messing with you." Another voice said, although this one was more rugged. I opened my eyes just I bit out of curiosity to see who the two arguing girls were. It was too much effort to focus my vision so early in the morning but I could basically determine their features.

The first blurry person was obviously buff with bleach blonde hair, and probably owned the second voice. Jasper? Is that what they'd said her name was? Well anyway she was holding another girl with blue hair by the wrist so that her face was inches from Jasper's chest. I assume that girl was the first to speak.

When my sight finally cleared up I recognized Jasper. Although this was the first time I've actually cared enough to remember her name I remember I remember working on a group project with her. Holy shit I hate group projects. Anyway, she'd complained the entire time about how I was annoying. I think I'm beginning to realize why I never cared about her name again...

The blue haired girl struggles against Jasper but couldn't escape, and the part of me that wasn't such a bitch wanted to help, but of course that wouldn't be beneficial for me so I didn't. When she'd seemed to have give up on using physical strength to escape she stood still. "That's my gi–" Jasper started before the blue haired girl elbowed her in the gut, taking her by surprise.

She yanked her wrist away from Jasper, obviously angry. "I know you like to seem cool Jasper but don't forget who's really in charge here." She said, and although it was a completely verified thing to say in the situation even I could tell their relationship wasn't healthy, for either of them.

I closed my eyes again, already losing interest in this little spat. Relationship problems are so dumb. Not that I'm not used to people over reacting over dumb things. I'm pretty sure I learn more about other people's petty lives then about arithmetic here, and I'm not even in the conversation.

I heard a loud ringing sound as the teacher stood up from her desk to begin class. She was dressed in all yellow and had a smug look on her face. Since it was still relatively close to the beginning of the school year I didn't know her name yet, nor am I eager to any time soon.

I sat up straight taking my head off the hard desk and began taking notes for class. Now my next achievement would be to make it through the day.

I opened the door to my house with my backpack slung over my shoulder. The bus ride had been awful, full of clods who thought it was a contest to see who could be the loudest, or even the occasional let's see what happens when we throw stuff at Peridot. My mother called out to me from the kitchen "How was your day, hun?"

"Shitty." I replied shortly, already halfway up the stairs.

"Really?" She replied, obvious irritation in her voice, "Is that all I get? It's not my fault your in such a pissy mood you know."

I knew it was best not to respond since it's only make her angrier. I continued walking up the stairs to my room, where I planned on hiding for the rest of the night. I sat down at my computer and pressed the power button. There was a small chime as it began to warm up, I waited for the familiar sight of the home screen to appear. I put on my favorite pair of headphones and double clicked the icon for my favorite game "Crystal Warriors."

I know it's not how most girls like to spend their free time, but hey, I got double my normal amount of gold for each game I play tonight and I don't plan on wasting that chance. My homework can wait till midnight.
