[Chapter 20]

Mina's POV:

"Lets go to the swings!"I said happily and ran towards the swings.
"Last one there is a pabo!(idiot)"I teased and immediately I saw Taehyung running faster.

He quickly sat on one of the swings while I panted.
"Hahaha PABO MINA!"He laughed and pointed at me.
"Yah!Kim Taehyung!"I shouted.
He began to laugh again.

This was the first time I saw him laugh,he looks so happy...I thought.
My heart began to pump faster again...

"Yah!Jung Mina!Come here!"Taehyung said and patted the swing beside him.
I quickly ran over and sat down.

"Umm lets see who can go the highest!"I suggested.
I held up my hand to countdown.
One...two...THREE!"I said and we started.

I began to go higher and higher and Taehyung followed me.
Seeing that he might win,I pushed the swing back even further and set off.

The swing went so high and I lost my balance.I felt myself drop off the swing and into the air.

In seconds,I fell face first on the ground.
"Oww,"I said in pain as I slowly got up.
"Mina!"I heard Taehyung shout as he got off his swing.

Taehyung crouched down beside me and held my hand.

"Are you ok?"He asked worriedly.
"Well,ghosts cant bleed so we get bruises,but we dont get hurt easily "I explained.

I lifted up my arm and saw bruises appearing.I saw Taehyung eyes drift towards my legs.
"How...did you get those marks?"He asked.

I looked down and saw other than the new bruises,I saw the scars on my legs.
"When I was kidnapped,the kidnapper tied my hands and legs tightly..."I explained.

Taehyung looked at my hand that he was holding.There was also a mark around my wrist.
"You must have suffered alot,"Taehyung said and looked at me with pity.

"Come on,we have other things to do!"I said and got up.
Before I could take another step,my foot hurt.
I looked down at my foot and realised that I had twisted my ankle.

Taehyung's POV:

I saw Mina limping as she got up.
I went in front of her and crouched down.
"I will carry you,"I offered.
"But...you are an idol!I cant..."Mina explained.

I sighed before grabbing her legs so she fell on me.
"Lets go,"I said and got up.
"Im sorry we couldnt do alot of childhood stuff,"Mina apologised.

"That doesnt matter,what matters is that you are safe,"I said.
Kim Taehyung why are you saying cheesy lines?I scolded myself.

Suddenly,I felt Mina wrap her arms around my neck.
"Thank you Taehyung ah,I havent done anything for you but you have done so much for me,"Mina said.

"Tha-Thats nothing,we are best friends right?"I said.

Aishh you pabo,what are you saying???

"Oh...yea we are best friends,"Mina said.

Mina's POV:

Did I just get friendzoned?
I knew things couldnt go that smoothly...
I guess I will just try to treat him as my best friend.

"Hyungs Im back!"Taehyung announced but no one replied.
Then,we heard splashing from the back of the house.
"I better go check on them,"
Taehyung said.

I was going to follow him when I smelled something delicious from the kitchen.
I floated over and saw Kim Seok Jin grilling meat.
"Wahh its beef!"I shouted.

Jin turned off the stove and went to wash up.I walked over to the meat and stared at the beautifully grilled beef.

"I wish I could eat...this is like torture..."I said.

"Ahh!"Jin shouted.
I turned my head and saw Jin holding a pocket mirror.

Aishh jjinja...

Instead of shouting and running away,Jin lifted up his mirror and looked at me.

"Who are you?A ghost of this house?"Jin asked.

Not knowing what to do,I quickly teleported to the pool.
I appeared beside Taehyung and he turned around in shock.
"You scared me,"Taehyung whispered.

"Umm I think Jin saw me..."I said.
"GUYS COME HERE NOW!"Jin shouted from the kitchen.

Taehyung glared at me as we walked into the kitchen.
"Were all of you in the pool just now?Did anyone see a girl walk into the house?"Jin questioned.

"Nobody came in when I arrived,"Taehyung said.
"Then just now what I saw...was it because I was too tired and lonely?"Jin said.

"What did you see hyung?"Jungkook asked.
"I saw a girl smelling the grilled meat,"Jin said.

Taehyung glared at me again before speaking.
"Wahh grilled beef!Come on lets eat before it get cold,"Taehyung said and placed the beef on the plate.

Taehyung brought the dish to the living room as the other members began to follow him.
But Jin stayed in his spot...

"I know you are here,please do not harm us,female ghost,"Jin said.
He held up his mirror and shuddered at my reflection.

Jin quickly ran out of the kitchen and I followed the others.

I went into Taehyung's room and yawned.
"Im so tired these days,I will just take a nap,"I said and laid down.

In minutes,I was fast asleep...

Taehyung's POV:

Me and the other members finished up our meals and had our own plans.

Jungkook and Jimin were playing video games,Suga Hyung went to visit his family.
Rapmon Hyung was practicing his solo mixtape.
Jin and Hoseok Hyungs were watching a movie.

I thought about what I wanted to do but I was really tired.
I decided to head back to my room and plopped myself onto the bed.
In seconds,I fell asleep...

<2pm>

Mina's POV:

"Taehyung ah!We are going out,you wanna come along?"Jimin shouted.

My eyes fluttered open.

Taehyung grunted and shook his head.
"Ok but you would have to wash the dishes tonight..."Jimin said.
Taehyung held up an 'ok' sign.

We heard the loud chatters fade away when I opened my eyes fully.
Taehyung's sleeping body was facing me.

Thats when I realised...we were on the same bed.

I couldnt help but stare at his features.Suddenly,his eyes flipped open.
I started to blush as I tried to get out of the bed.

But Taehyung grabbed my arm.
"Dont...go..."he whispered.
