[Chapter 42]

The next day,

Taehyung's POV:

After explaining to my managers,I am allowed to bring my mother back to Daegu.

I went to the hospital and before I entered Mother's room,I remembered that Yura was staying beside her.

I went into Yura's room instead and saw her sleeping peacefully.
I decided to write Yura a little note and placed it beside her desk.

I quickly made my way out and closed the door.

Little did Taehyung know that when he closed the door,the door created wind and blew the note below Yura's bed...]

Taehyung's POV:

We were heading towards our house when we saw Inspector Park coming out of his house with Bihin behind him.

"Aigoo Inspector Park!It has been a long time since we saw you!"Mother said and they began to chat happily.

"Ah!This is my future son-in-law,Seo Bihin,"Inspector Park said.
Mother quickly shook hands with him when Inspector Park said,
"How are you doing these days?
I heard that yesterday your husband got caught,"

Mother's eyes widened and she glared at me.
"He was such a good friend to me,I cant believe he was the one who hit me till I was half paralysed and killed two people,"Inspector Park said.

"We have to go now,see you later,"Mother said and quickly made her way to our house.

"You called the police,didnt you?"Mother asked.
I nodded my head.

"WHY?!"She shouted.
"He doesnt care about the both of us and treats us badly!
I should be asking you WHY you wouldnt want me to call the police!"I shouted.

"You dont know anything ok!I love  him and I always will,no matter what you say!I thought you would be smarter when you grew up but no,you are still the little weird,stupid kid that I hated,"Mother said.

Why...would Mother say that?

"Why...Why are you saying this?"I asked.

Mother was shocked that she actually shouted the truth out.
She ran into the room and slammed the door shut.

Why does everything I do ruin everything?Why am I so useless...
A tear escaped from my eye as I covered my face.

Bihin's POV:

I pushed Father's wheelchair as we wanted to take a stroll around the  neighborhood.

"Father,you said that you were a good friend of Taehyung's father.
Arent you also the one in charge of his case?
Why did you drop the case to another inspector?"I asked.

"Why do you wanna know?"Father asked.
"You know,I can do anything I want to you right now,"I threatened.

"Okok I'll tell you! I was a good friend of Taeho.
When I heard what happened,I arranged for him to escape while I left the case to a colleague and left the country with Hyesung.

Taeho tried to kill me because I met up with Taehyung and told him some information but he couldnt do it because I was his good friend," Father revealed.

"No wonder the police couldnt catch him..."I said.
"Bring me home now!"Father shouted and I turned the wheelchair around.

"Sorry Father,I needed answers,"I said and quickly pushed him back.
On the way back,I texted Taehyung,telling him to meet me at the front of the house.

After settling Father in his room,I saw Taehyung waiting outside.
"Kim Taehyung,dont say I didnt help you.
I just got information from my father-in-law!"I said and revealed the information.
