Victoire et Muerte

Prologue

   In a fishing village named Riviere de Sang, on the early days of an island called Blood Island, a young boy named Dieu-des Del Aracne was born. Blood Island was quite a large island. After the French army claimed the island after winning the war against the English, the Spanish raided and conquered, then the French defeated the Spanish. The island has known to have a mixture of the three Languages, but the Rievere de Sang staying a French village, and so to the name of the village. Riviere de Sang was actually an important place for the French, as it was used as a secret spot for storing weapons. Anyway, back to Dieu. Dieu was born on April 7th, 1701.

   After his father was killed during a privateer war, his mother left him for dead. After a French soldier named Feu Froid found him in the house, Dieu was quickly fed, and cured of his afflictions. After Dieu turned 7, Fue's commander had visited Dieu while he was cleaning the home, to tell him the Fue died in war. Dieu was quite sad indeed. He was sent to an orphanage this time, and was adopted by a mysterious hooded man, whom to the man's death point, never gave Dieu his real name. He always went by Dark Blade. No one knew why, or where he got the nick name from.

   Anyway, when Dieu was 19, in 1720, Dark Blade had passed away one day in that year. Since Dieu was an adult, he did not go to an orphanage, and quickly started learning to live on his own. Using the skills this mysterious man he called father had taught him, he was able to create a fire, cook food, trade properly, and clean correctly. When it was dark, though, Dieu was a completely different person. Dieu used the sleeve blade Dark Blade gave him, (A blade that hides in a pocket in his cloak, so he can grab the hilt, pull it out easily, and when he needs to put the blade away, can can just slide it back in there, hidden from any view), and began to do assassination contracts for other people. Not just for anyone though. He gave a proper price, at 700 Drachma's, (The Greek's had influenced Blood Island's currency), which was both quite expensive, but cheap when it came to assassinations. He got more contracts then most people did, but he did not kill a lot of those people wanted dead.

   After about 3 years in business, most assassin's would have about 100+ kills, with a lot more contracts awaiting. Dieu had only 19, with a lot of contracts awaiting. After the officials of Blood Island began executing assassins, Dieu stopped working as one, and became a fisherman. He made a living off of it. Dieu was 22 when his encounter with a pirate happened, and that influenced him to become a man of the sea. He started as a fisherman, but what he turned out later to be, shocked the people of Blood Island. That can wait later, though, as I had forgotten Dieu's looks! Dieu had a strong build. Broad shoulders, detailed arm muscles, and long legs. He had a face that was small chinned, and stout. His eyes were a husky blue, and his lips were a thin, loved shape. His hair was of the blondish colour, long in the back, but short on the forehead. He likes to wear a black cloak, darker then the night itself.
