Mya P.O.V.
I woke up and turned over to look at the picture of my beautiful baby girl. The last 6 months have been crazy i miss Jaya so much that everyday it hurts me to see she's not here. I'm Mya but everyone calls me Mimi I'm 21 going on 22 i had a beautiful daughter named Jaya but she passed away in a car accident I'm not in any relationship with anyone. I moved to Atlanta to start my dream which is to have my own clothing store. I got out of my bed and seen i have 2 miss calls from my ex Hakeem he's also my baby's father after she die me and him been very close but will never be together again. I did my hygiene nd put on my pants with a dress shirt with my heels i got in my car which smelled just like Jaya i had to suck it up i can't cry. I started up the car and drove off i seen that Keem was calling once again.
Keem: hello
Me: hi keem
He chuckles
Keem: why you said it like that
Sighs
Me: what do you mean keem
Keem: you said it like you don't wanna talk to me
Me: I didn't say that keem its just i have to go to work
Keem: ok i will bring you lunch then
Me: no you don't have to
Keem: look Mya this is the sixth month that Jaya is gone i know u miss her so i will bring u lunch that should make u feel better if not i will take you out
I sniffed
Me: thank you Keem but u don't have to take me out i have to go I'm at work
I hung up and wiped my tears from my face i got out the car locked it and walked inside the clothing store i seen Nina at the front desk and Ellisa putting up the new clothes that we just got. I walked into the office this shop isn't mines yet when Monica leaves this will be my shop but so far its looking like this is my shop. "Hey sexy mama" Ellisa said with a wink. I gave her a weak smile "Hey" I said dryly. I could tell she knew something was bothering, "What's wrong?". "Nothing is wrong" I mumbled. "Is it about Jaya? I know you hurting boo we here if you need anything" she said so bravely. She walked out the office while i was still standing there. I walked out the office and started to put up some of the clothes than I heard the bell ring to let us know that someone was coming in I looked to see who it was and it was some tall light skin guy he was handsome no lie but I don't think I'm ready to talk to someone. "Hello may i help you?" I asked with a smile. "Yes I'm here for Mya Dames" with said with a smirk. "May I ask who's asking" I said with a bright smile. "Yes I'm Shawn" he said showing all his teeth. "Nice to meet you but why are you in a ladies shop?" i asked curiously. "I'm new to Atlanta I didn't know this was a lady store" he said looking at his shoes. "Well how about you give me your number and I will show you around Atlanta" I said while looking at my hands. "Sure how about i take you to lunch or dinner and we get to know each since your the only person I know out here" he said looking at me. "I prefer dinner since I'm closing the shop up" I said trying not to smile. I wrote down my number and gave it to him he gave him a hug in which i felt safe and he looked at me he left. I seen Nina and Ellisa looking at me while i was smiling. "Girl who was that, it seems like y'all going on a date tonight" Ellisa said looking at Nina. "Do Hakeem know about this random ass person who walked in here" Nina said looking so serious. "How come everytime I try to talk to someone or someone try to talk to me you two always bring up Hakeem?" I asked wanting to know the answer. "Its because Hakeem is your baby daddy even though Jaya isn't here you still have to respect him" Nina smart mouth said. "Me and Hakeem aren't even dating so why would he care if I'm talking to someone?" I asked wanting to know what Nina or Ellisa was going to say. "Well i agree with Mya" Ellsa said smiling at me."Well its her life. Mya you can do whatever you want with your life but I'm just saying that's kinda mean you talking to another man" Nina said with an attitude. After Nina said that Hakeem walked in straight to me Nina walked away and so did Ellisa. "What Hakeem?" I asked. He looked at me and i seen he had a bag saying Sonny's. "Like I said I brought you lunch" Keem said with a smile. "Keem you didn't have to being me lunch but then thank you because I'm hungry" I said laughing causing him to laugh too. "So i will call you later on tonight to check up on you" He said kissing my forehead just as he said that my phone vibrated. Hakeem walked out and I took the call.
