Seriously one of the main things I hate about Twilight is how Bella reacts when Edward dumped her. I mean honestly!

In the Harry Potter series, when Ron asks out Padma Patil, Hermione retaliates by going to the Yule Ball with the sexy Bulgarian Quidditch player (and Ron's idol,) Viktor Krum. When he dates Lavender Brown in book six she goes on a date with yet another sexy Quidditch player, Cormac McClaggen. Despite Ron's treatment of her, Hermione puts up with her heartache and continues the fight against Voldemort.

When Severus' true love leaves him for the man he hates. He goes to great measures to ensure her safety, and becomes a double spy. After her death he continues as a spy, except as a quintuple spy to protect and watch over her son, fight for the light and eventually die protecting Harry. (A/N If you don't really understand what a quintuple spy is, pm me and I'll explain, it does sound kinda confusing.)

When Harry leaves Ginny for her safety, she continues to fight against Snape's regime at Hogwarts, and with the help of Neville and Luna, restarts the DA, breaks into Snape's office to steal the sword of Gryffindor, and fights for the Light in the Battle of Hogwarts despite being told by her parents, older siblings and Harry not to and came out alive.

However when Edward dumps Bella she puts herself in danger just to hear his voice again and jumps of a bloody cliff.
