I sighed flopping down the couch. My feet were sore, I had yet another headache and I was tired as all hell.

"Hey baby" a soothing voice said from behind.

I laid down and buried my head into the softest throw pillow we had on the couch. A muffled 'hi' from me was said.

"Rough shift huh?" He asked.

I didn't respond, he already knew. He walked over to me and sat down, he patted my thighs and that was the signal for me to get up. I did so, and snuggled into his chest not even bothering to look into his warm and comforting eyes. I groaned again and he rubbed soothing circles on my back.

"I know you think it was a hard day, and trust me I know it was. But I know you y/n, and I know deep down that you are absolutely in love with your job. You love being a nurse in the children's ward, because you love helping and most importantly you like kids. You can't wait to have a family of your own, and you know how I know that?" He spoke.

"How?" I spoke a little high pitched and muffled.

"Because I love you and I know every single detail about you." He said softly and moved to soothingly rub up and down my arm.

I reluctantly pulled away from his warm chest and the sound of his heartbeat to look at him, and there he was in all his glory.

His sparkling eyes, his warm heart, his cuddly yet broad and protective physique , his caring personality.

"I love you so much Mitch." I said sincerely

"I love you too y/n," he paused.

He the pulled me back into our previous position and continued to run my arm, while his other hand held my thigh.

"I mean, that is why I married you." He finished and kissed the top of my head, then my cheek, then my neck.

He instantly found my sweet spot because of the many years of practice and did exactly what he did every time, and it still made me fall for him.

He put me on his lap and we shared a kiss full of lip biting, chuckling and giggling, kisses everywhere, and loving looks. Mitch picked me up by the thighs and sneakily squeezed my butt, then brought us to our bedroom.

The whole way there, I couldn't stop the smile and the giggles leaving my mouth and he couldn't stop the giant grateful smile on his.
