You may not see it now, but there is someone. They may be the funniest, cutest, nicest and cheesiest person you will ever meet.

"C'mon! Just come out with us, you're always staying home!" Bee encouraged.

"Yeah, c'mon y/n it'll be a lot of fun!" Straub  egged.

"Guys I'm good, okay?" I said bluntly.

   It was yet another Friday night, and Friday nights meant going out. Now to most people this wouldn't seem like a bad thing but when all your friends are in relationships and your like 11th wheel it's kinda a pain in the ass.

"Y/n, we're gonna watch that new movie that you wanted to see really badly...." Brayden bargained. I sighed in response and got up.

   Small cheers were heard from the couples and I sighed again.

   If my friends weren't in relationships with each other, then they had boyfriends or girlfriends that became my friends. So no matter what I did I was always the single one of the group. Bee and Straub, Brayden and Olivia, Will and Ally, Parker and Selena, and long story short everyone had a boyfriend or girlfriend except me.

   I grabbed my stuff and we all headed out for my agonizingly slow and lonely Friday night. The way to the movie theatre I kind of tuned everyone else out, and starred out the window.

Am I ever going to find someone?

Am I always going to be single?

Is it me?

Maybe it's the way I look, or is it the way I dress?

I am surrounded by my friends yet I feel so alone.

"Hey y/n, you okay?" A soft voice said, that soft voice belonged to Mitch.

   The other single in our group, but the difference between Mitch and I is that he will refuse to go out with the couples because he knows he'll be ninth wheel, but me; I can't say 'sorry guys I just don't want to feel like shit about myself tonight because I'm surrounded by couples.' Or 'yeah I really don't feel like getting starred at by strangers and being completely embarrassed.' Yeah, Mitch is smart but so oblivious.

"Um, yeah. I was just-uh thinking." I stuttered, yeah he's totally going to believe you now.

"Y/n, how long have I known you?" He smirked.

"A long time..." I murmured.

"Exactly, now tell me what's-"

"Alright we're here guys!" Brayden exclaimed taking Olivia's hand and walking into the movie theatre throwing his arm over her shoulder and kissing her temple.

   I sighed and continued on, just make it through the movie and then you can watch sappy romantic movies by yourself on Netflix later.

"Alright guys, we got the tickets." Straub said, Bee handed everyone their tickets while her other hand was tightly clasped around Straubs. Jesus this is going to be a long night.
